Family-friendly vacation rentals in Deschutes River

Theresa’s place was perfect for a nice relaxing time for me and my husband and our two little dogs. The back yard is an oasis! And it is walkable to the cutest coffee shop, Fox & Fern. Would definitely stay again!

Great location. Quick access to the river and trails. Community pool and hot tub were nice too.

I have stayed in Airbnb’s and VRBO a number of times over a ten year time frame. Cliff’s townhome is absolutely fabulous. Everything is top quality, well stocked with some nice welcome goodies plus a bottle of great wine. Cliff is very quick to respond and his instructions to get into the gated community made it easy to find. He gives detailed instructions on check in and check out which I really appreciated. This is my all time favorite place and I definitely will be back. Thank you Cliff for the wonderful stay to visit friends and family in the community I lived in previously. Everything was absolutely fabulous!

We had an amazing time at this home—it was perfect for our stay! Everything was exactly as described (if not better). The house was spotless and had all the amenities we needed. The whole space felt welcoming. The location was ideal—close to everything we wanted to explore, yet quiet and peaceful when we wanted to relax. Communication with the host was seamless; they were responsive, helpful, and clearly cared about making our stay great. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. Our stay was incredible! Rachel And Rico perfectly described their lovely home, and even then, it was more thanwhat we could have thought. Perfectly located near Sandy, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Relaxing in the hot tub and hearing the river near the property was very relaxing. Rachel And Rico were incredibly helpful and responsive, and even checked on us during our stay. When I one day come back to Oregon again, I will definitely stay here again.

What a perfect location for exploring all of Bend! I went on morning runs through Old Mill District and Downtown Bend which was awesome! You can easily take a 3-5 minute drive to just about anywhere. The home itself is spacious, clean, and homey. My family of three enjoyed having our own rooms and spending time outside sitting in the hot tub and having our morning coffee on the deck. I firmly believe this is a great deal considering how expensive the lodging is in Bend. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Michael’s place is a beautiful respite! Wonderful outdoor space with the peaceful sound of the river, river trail right in front of the property for adventuring, & the home was clean and had everything you could need!

Crystal is a delightful host - kind, proactive, friendly, responsive, and honestly someone we would love to hang out with if we lived here! And her home is just beautiful - plenty of space, with everything we needed including a stunning backyard where you can go to the local state park and float down the river all the way back home. Plus it’s just a short walk to coffee and food trucks and live music twice a week. This is one of our favorite stays ever and we’d highly recommend this space. Everyone will be happy here!

Wonderful accommodations in a peaceful quiet setting. Clean homey house with everything we needed.

This was a beautiful place to stay for our vacation week in Bend. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants, coffee shops, a great playground and easy access to get to Mt Bachelor. The house was very clean and comfortable, we felt right at home.

We enjoyed our stay at Cory’s. The pool table was an added touch. The space was clean and ready for us upon check in. Location was close to all the activities we had planned for the few days we were there. Would definitely stay here again.

The cottage is wonderful, right on the river, incredibly clean and well stocked. There’s a great assortment of water toys too, paddle boards, kayaks, and inflatables. Even better is that Jackie is an amazing host, so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Fantastic location too!

A magical place to disconnect and reconnect with nature. The cabin is cozy, and the views are breathtaking. We’d love to come back!

The pictures don’t do the cabin justice, it is beautifully crafted and has everything you need and more. Bob’s attention to detail shines through with helpful recommendations and instructions for the area.

This cabin and property are amazing. Super quiet, beautiful surroundings with cool trails... Easy to access yet you still feel like you’re in the middle of the woods. Close to the waterfalls, trails, Tokatee…Comfy bed, super clean, I’ll definitely be back.

We had a great time here with our family trip. We had 6 adults and 2 kids and lots of room for all of us. The kids liked the foosball table and we enjoyed the proximity to paths and the river. We used the tubes and life jackets to float and played some pickleball. The TV doesn't have cable/channels so bring your own streaming device - we were prepared for this and brought ours to catch some Olympics in our down time and when AQI got too high outside. This was a much more reasonably priced house than most in and around the Sunriver area, but still good proximity to pickleball/tennis, river, and small but clean pool. Lots of deer in the yard each day and lots of big fluffy bunnies hopping around. We would stay here again.

Great place! Super big and had so much fun stuff to do at the house! We loved being able to walk to the river and see some wildlife :) the hot tub, pool table, foosball, ping pong, Wii and upstairs kitchen made it great to keep lots of people entertained! 10/10 would stay here again! 🥳

Wonderful quiet lovely place!

WOW, nice little gem we. And across when I saw this listing. We loved it so much we stayed another extra day. The place is clean and so relaxing. We will be back for sure.

We loved this property so much! My family had the best time in Sunriver and we can’t wait to stay at this property again! The house was well stocked, immaculate, comfortable, and beautiful. We really enjoyed all of the bikes and the loft above the garage was an amazing bonus! Our favorite thing to do in the evening was to sit in the hot tub and stargaze. Susan was an amazing, responsive host. We can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I loved staying here at Anne's place! It was roomy for just the two of us, but could have easily fit another couple and maybe a couple of kids. We loved being able to use the two bikes provided and access to the pool and hot tub. It was nice that it wasn't in the main Sunriver area so it wasn't as busy or crowded, but it was still close to food trucks, a market and a few stores. The condo does get a little warm, but the fans really helped. We would love to stay here again.

Nancy gave us an amazing stay! Great home, great location, and left lots of recommendations in her booklet at the house! Great host and great place to stay all around!

The cabin was the perfect place for us to rest and relax. It is very quiet and the sunroom was our favorite spot to be. Looking out into the pine forest was very peaceful. We had everything we needed. Katrina is a great communicator. The only difficulty we had was all the stairs (kitchen, living area upstairs and bathroom/bedrooms downstairs), but that is probably on me as I didn’t check for that when making the reservation. Even with the stairs, I would stay here again.
