PLEASE NOTE: NO SMOKING or VAPING on the premises. We do have security cameras outside of the town hall building, which provide security and lighting for all guests.

During our stay, a storm knocked out the power to the home for the first night and much of the second day. Jessica was very responsive, checking in to see how things were going and keeping us updated on the power situation. The home was clean and well cared for. It is near a railroad track, so be prepared for many trains passing through, but otherwise, a nice quiet place to stay.

Dan's place was perfect for us. We didn't get to meet the rest of the family. We actually didn't spend a lot of time there and when we were there we were very tired. It was a family from all over the country weekend so we spent meals and daytime together just caching up. I do look forward to staying there again if the possible comes up.

If in Ft Madison, Ia. You’d like a place to stay do not overlook this property. Barbara’s has forgot nothing in the Amenity Dept. We arrived late. Walked in. Looked at each other and said this should have been a 2 night stay instead of - night. Beauty, spotless, inviting and convenient to find. Yes, it is worth every penny! Thanks, Barbara!
