Vacation rentals with lake access in Delmarva Peninsula

We usually stay during the winter (which is so peaceful and beautiful) but were thrilled to have a chance to stay during some warm weather during the kids spring break. We were able to fish, catch some crabs, kayak, enjoy walks and play on the "beach". We had a blast and are so grateful for the beautiful weather and peaceful retreat. Excellent house for a family reunion, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It features a huge, well-stocked kitchen, nice mattresses and bedding, and is situated in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful nature. I will definitely return soon.

Everything was very good bdrm, 2 baths, waterfront! Dock to fish from! love the Morning/all day room for us. We enjoyed fishing and Bird watching, Eagles and Osprey among other, I know why the call it Bird River! Will definitely stay again. Hosts were very understanding of our changing plans, quick response times!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful bay-facing home in Cape May. The views were stunning, especially during sunset, and the house was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Perfect for a relaxing getaway

This was our second stay at Beach Please and it was just as delightful as the first! The house was again squeaky clean, thoughtfully decorated and had plenty of room for our multi-generational family to spread out. Grandparents appreciated the first floor master bedroom and kiddos loved the game room, and the crafts and puzzles upstairs. The neighborhood is peaceful and cozy, with beautiful views in every direction. The addition of the acoustic guitar for songs by the firepit was a major plus, as our ten year old is a music lover and almost brought her own. We had a great stay and would recommend this AirBnB to anyone! Grab a week (or two) and don't think twice.

This house is perfect for large groups. It is very spacious, with plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the dock taking in the serene natural beauty of the Creek and observing the local birdlife, including Kingfishers, Great Blue Herons, and Bald Eagles. The house is situated very near to the entrance of Lookout Point State Park which we greatly enjoyed exploring on bicycles. Seeing a large wedge of Tundra Swans fly overhead was a special moment. If you want to spend some time relaxing in a beautiful setting in a beautiful and very interesting area with a large group, this house will serve you well.

The cottage /house was peaceful on the edge of an inlet from the Bay. The patio was lovely. It was chilly so we couldn’t use the kayaks. The kitchen was very well equipped. The dishes, utensils, cookware were quality. The extra cozy blankets were nice. He responded to a request very timely. We enjoyed the stay very much.

Our family had a great time - the property was spacious and clean, location was beautiful, and we loved playing outdoors in the open space and getting out on the water. Hosts were very responsive and everything we might need/want was provided!

This place is an absolute gem!!! Super clean and well maintained home, beautiful yard & peaceful porch, great host and steps from the beach!! Our family of four had an amazing time and cannot wait to come back next yard. It’s the perfect spot and such an awesome value!

Great above-garage apartment. Fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom, and comfortable king bed with walk in closet. Location is directly off the highway but not at all noisy. Had a little trouble finding the location (I accidentally drove past it the first time) but eventually realized I was at the wrong place. 10 minutes to downtown Annapolis.

Very clean and cozy. Nicely constructed. Convenient to Sweetwater Marina and Riverdeck.

We needed a quiet and private space to relax. Jordan’s space was all of this. We stayed here for a month and hardly ever heard Jordan and her family. Jordan was quick to respond if we had any questions. The bed was very comfortable and the views of the water were nice.

Jill’s home was exactly as pictured, clean and cozy. It was a prime location, walking distance to restaurants,shops and marina. There was construction next door which started early and the fan helped to drown out the noise of the roads, both we’re not deal breakers and did not take away from the charm of the town or the place. We would definitely rent here again!

Very responsive was always willing to accommodate! Any question I had, he responded quickly and always had an answer! Very very clear and nice!

We were two families with four children—two young adults heading to college and two spirited middle schoolers—and every one of us, regardless of age, found joy and peace here. From the breathtaking natural surroundings to the simple pleasure of kayaking through calm waters, each moment felt like a gentle reset for the soul. What truly elevated the experience was our host, Shawn. More than just a “super host,” she embodied hospitality in its finest form. Her attention to detail, her care for comfort, and the thoughtful touches throughout the home surpassed even the details of a Hollywood studio setting !

Great place and nice host. Would stay again definitely worth the price. The property was awesome, great place for a fire pit and barbecue.

We had a great stay at the cottage. Very peaceful getaway. We loved biking around the island and learning about the history. The cottage was very clean and Janet was very kind and helpful. Recommend for a cute unique getaway!

Heather’s place is a little paradise on the water. Peaceful, quiet, and perfect for some real rest and relaxation. The house was exactly as described—spotless, all new, and super comfortable inside, with beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy. Annapolis is just a short 25-minute drive away if you’re looking for great food and things to do. Communication with Heather was easy and fast. I’d come back anytime I’m in the area again!

A beautiful home with space for several people, close to the water and surrounded by beautiful pine trees. Clean and tidy with a coastal charm, pet friendly is an extra bonus! Owners were very supportive and communicative.

The perfect spot for our Winter getaway. A beautiful setting and a well preserved colonial era cabin, perfect for exploring such an historic part of our Country. Quaint local restaurants, friendly people and a country setting handy to the lower tidewater Virginia. The icing on the cake was the fireplace for cozy evenings reading a good book. Stayed a few days at Andrew's place for spring break. It was clean, very cute, great views, quiet, private/peaceful. Very cute little town too. Amazing Mexican restaurant not far from the house. Also, stopped by the suggested coffee shop for lunch (also amazing food). There's also a state park not far from the house. We went there to hang out on the beach. Overall, it was just what we needed. Would definitely come back.
