The studio has a gas fireplace and lots of skylights for plenty of light. Nice ocean views PS: This is an upstairs unit with a staircase to enter the studio, if you have a problem climbing stairs this might not be the right fit for you. We stayed at this house for my wife and my anniversary weekend with my 2 daughters (8) and (11) my sister-in-law, and my in-laws. We LOVE the central location (close to Carmel by the Sea and in Monterey). LOTS of things to see and do! The house was EXTREMELY clean, and the amenities were excellent! My daughter's and I enjoyed the bean bag toss (I even bought a set for our house) and I got to teach them how to golf! The small and fun things are taken care of here! Joanna and Jaden responded quickly and informed us of a potential temporary outage of the TV service well before check in time! They were very communicative and helpful throughout the stay. When we return in the future, we hope to book this house again!

The Santa Cruz A-frame was such a serene retreat into the mountains for us, and an antidote to our overly digital and urban lives. Things we appreciated: easy parking, both an upstairs and downstairs bathroom, full kitchen supplies, private balcony, gorgeous forest views, creek in the back, and easy access to Loch Lomond (peddle boating on the lake was so peaceful), the redwood state park (hiking in the largely shaded trail was great on an otherwise sunny day), and local groceries and food (enjoyed the cute outdoor patio in the back of The Grove cafe and bakery). We had a wonderful rest!

The place was absolutely amazing. I so loved the house, It was quite & quaint. I would absolutely do it again. Only wish Check out time was a bit later maybe 1-2 pm insted of 11am. Will book again in the near future.

I can't imagine writing a review that would accurately describe the experience at Munir's home. He thought of everything! We drove about 7, maybe 8 hours. When we arrived, we were exhausted but the lights were on, blinds open so we could begin the experience before we walked in the door. The refrigerator was stocked and the beds were so comfortable! When we woke in the morning, we got the full picture! Everything is close to his home, so it is convenient for sightseeing, shopping, hiking...etc... Munir's home is so warm and comfy, instead of dining out, we were content to hang out with the dogs and enjoy! Munir's warmth and attention to detail made this trip better than we could have imagined! Thank you Munir!!!

A very nice home for a stay with a moderately sized family. Very good walkable restaurants from the house. A very short drive away from the aquarium, felt very safe with the kids playing in the yard it was enclosed.
