The village is located in the heart of the Frisian lake district; you will be staying with the harbor master of Woudsend, Corine. The cottage's flower garden (butterfly garden) offers plenty of privacy and is situated right below the 't Lam corn mill. Come here to relax with your loved one, away from the hustle and bustle; you will find peace and quiet here, and you will be awakened by the titmouses, blackbirds, and sparrows (sometimes on Sundays by the church bells). Atmospheric forest house with large garden

Our foresthouse Bambi is built in 2024, and located in the middle of the forests of Gaasterland, close to Oudemirdum. A nice house for a beautiful stay in a natural environment with friends or family! The house is fully furnished with a spacious living room with open kitchen, wood stove and patio doors to a large terrace. There are three bedrooms, a bathroom with rain shower, separate toilet and fully equipped kitchen. There is also a washing-drying machine and wood-burning stove.

Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Waking up with a view of the dining room, a herd of horses living in freedom, 2 pigs making their beds in front of the window every evening, and sometimes a sheep walking by... Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no Wi-Fi and no TV. There is, however, a large table for playing games together and a lovely sofa for drinking a glass of wine together. Make beautiful memories together! And extra fun: the first lambs are born at the beginning of October!
