Self-contained Annex Studio Flat

The accommodation consists of a double bedroom with French doors opening onto a nice big garden. There is a fully fitted kitchen and a small bathroom with walk-in shower. Broadband, TV, fridge, washing machine and drier are all included. It is about 50 yards from Egham station which has regular trains to London, the journey taking about 40 minutes. The train goes to Waterloo Station which is very close to the London Eye and Westminster, with Buckingham Palace, St James Park, Trafalgar Square a short walk away. Heathrow Airport is 5 or 6 miles away. Egham is a small town, but it has some historic interest in that the Magna Carta was signed at Runnymede down the road by the river in 1215. Not far away is Windsor castle and Eton (where princes William and Harry, and David Cameron went to school). There is also some lovely countryside around and lovely walks.

Caellagh’s place is perfect for a little pit stop in Windsor! It is within walking distance of the central shopping part and castle and was very convenient for our stay. We were visiting legoland just up the road which was only a 5-10min drive. Everything was clean and Caellagh was really friendly on her responses :) thanks again!

One word AMAZING. What a beautiful flat, spotlessly clean, very well stocked kitchen, decor stunning, elegantly furnished - can't praise it high enough, easily lived up to expectations from the photos and more. Easy few minutes walk into town and 15 minute slow walk to the castle. Tempstay were very responsive to any question put to them and very friendly - thank you. Would recommend buying the parking permit which allows you to park on any roads in Zone E although these roads were busy so parking was difficult but we did manage to find space 5 minute walk away. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay for a very special occasion and would definitely recommend this lovely place to anyone.

Everything was spot on. Pat was a very helpful, friendly and responsive host. The room was perfect for my needs with a great en suite bathroom, in her home but on the top floor, so private. Parking was much appreciated and easy. The location was great and I enjoyed a walk to nearby Datchet in the evening where I sat in the playing field and enjoyed a picnic with food bought from Tesco. I really appreciated the milk, coffee and cereal available in my room, nice extra touches and so convenient when working away from home. Leaving in the morning was really straightforward. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this place to others.

Great place to stay when exploring Windsor and environs. Katie’s place is beautiful and absolutely spotless. Comprehensive, clear instructions on all areas of the house and how to use TV etc. The property itself is incredibly convenient and walking distance to all the local attractions. Great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. Katie was very responsive and flexible - we were ok to drop off our cases, as we arrived from London a little early. In summary: highly recommended property and host.

Walking distance to Windsor Castle

Cherry's place was well situated for the event we were doing at Windsor Castle and we had a lovely weekend. Cherry was very friendly but respected that we had a busy weekend. Her place was clean and compact and the bed was very comfortable. Parking on the street was no problem as the road is wide, a cul-de-sac and in a good, quiet area (the parking restrictions during part of some days didn't affect us as we were out during the day). We enjoyed our stay in Windsor.
