Forget worries, enjoy long glorious days in this lovely cottage by beautiful Tyrifjorden. Here you can vacation both rural and central at the same time. Oslo is 40 min away, the fjord is on the property, golf course 5 min away and not to mention Krokskogen with beautiful ski slopes, hiking and biking trails! The cabin has recently been renovated and is a great place to come back to after active days out. No running water! Drinking water is provided in cans (arranged by the host), water for washing is in the spring on the porch. Combustion toilet.

Stolpehytta

Lower your heart rate at the top of Stolpehytta! Stolpehytta is located 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum municipality, right next to the climbing park Høyt & Lavt Modum. Here you can find tranquility among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view over the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just enough space for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent e-bikes, stroll down to the climbing park or explore the local area.

Then this is the place for you, with Mørkgonga, Storflåtan and Damtjern as the nearest neighbors, as well as a short way down to the Steinsfjord and Tyrifjord which offers good bathing, boating and fishing conditions. Our country house is easy to reach by the main road between Bergen and Oslo. Only one hour drive from Oslo and from Oslo airport Gardermoen. You'll love the place in quiet surroundings and wild nature, the view, the large outdoor areas with direct access to the river. Two canoes & one boat included, ready for taking you out for fishing or just for an adventure up the river. An hour drive from the house you wil reach the nearest mountains to Oslo, Vikerfjell, a great place for hiking and biking.
