Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Dambulla

the accommodation was grand and spacious. the bedrooms were comfortable. there was issue with the bathroom doors not able to close. the host was responsive and said will get fixed. the common areas felt a bit hot due to lack of fans or ac. host said will adress this. overall will recommend this place

Gabaa Resort is a peaceful play to stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful. if you want a relaxing place to stay highly recommend.

The cabana is modern and beautiful, with a lovely garden surrounding it. The place felt very cozy and The staff was very helpful and quick to answer any questions and booked a safari for us. They were also kind enough to prepare breakfast in advance to take with us on a very early hike. We did have an instance where we were waiting for food that we ordered for very long which was annoying, but this was simply a miscommunication from both sides, as we assumed it was room service rather than at the restaurant area. The daytime was full of lovely nature sounds, but at night it was a bit noisy from other properties nearby playing loud music. There are restaurants within walking distance, but sites such as Sigiriya rock are 20 mins away by car. Overall, would highly recommend to stay here!

I recommend Nilambara Lake View to everyone. The place is located few kilometers from the road, it’s peaceful, you can relax in the pool. The host is also really helpful, breakfasts are delicious! :)

Cozy treetop house. Nice pool. Simple but good with a very friendly and helpful owner.

The food is excellent and very well cooked, breakfast at the top. all with fresh produce. Very beautiful place with beautiful views and a beautiful pool. Pleasant and responsive hosts, like all staff. I recommend. a big thank you for this beautiful stay. Laurent

The stay in Dhona's Villa in Sigiriya was excellent. We booked all 4 rooms and had the whole place to ourselves and another family that was travelling with us. The caretake, Pasindu, was present with a friendly smile to greet us. He attended to our every need. We ordered dinner and breakfast and had it in the outdoor deck overlooking the swimming pool and garden. It was a beautiful setting. All 4 rooms were spotless and had their own toilet and shower. The rooms were all air conditioned. Thank you Ajith, Pasindu and the team for a wonderful stay.

The Cabins in Habarana are a must!! The accommodation is even more beautiful in person and is so tranquil. The staff were terrific - they helped us organise trips to Hurulu Eco Park for elephant safari (an amazing experience), Lions Rock, the Caves in Dambulla and our transfer to Kandy. We also ate there both nights of our stay and the food was fabulous.

the grounds of raintree are immaculate, so peaceful and relaxing, i loved my cabin overlooking the fish and turtles... and there were fire flys at night... The host Sue is such a lovely person.. the dinners at night were so tasty as were the variety of breakfasts.

My parents stayed here this time as we experienced the amazing hosting couple of years ago. We wanted parents to experience this hospitality and it was nothing short of amazing!

The nicest stay! The cabin is very local and Sumedha and his family are so sweet and welcoming. Every time we needed anything, there was a response to message right away! There was also really good breakfast and he helped drive us to pidurangala rock for sunrise :)

Went here to record a podcast about birdwatching. The episode is now 16 hours long. Also, there was a chameleon. It shape shifted in front of our eyes, and whilst beholding that magic, we turned our day to day stress into the wonder of our surroundings and the serenity this place beholds. Personnel was amazing. The best we’ve ever experienced. We felt sad to leave. The owners, a very nice couple, were so helpful, no high end star hotel can match that.
