Summer cottage/cabin at Grundsjön

Free wifi, hot tub, 3 meters from water, quiet and nice, close to nature, dishwasher, washing machine, terrace, private parking, shower and toilet, fireplace, floor heating and everything is newly renovated in 2020. Bed linens and towels should be brought by yourself. Cleaning should be done before you check out and should be thoroughly done, for example, vacuum, dry the floors, dust the bathroom and the kitchen. So you leave the house in the condition it was in when you arrived. Rowing boat is included to the cabin. You need to clean the house before you leave.

The accommodation is a separate guest area in the house with its own entrance. It consists of one bedroom with a double bed and a large living room with a bunk bed, kitchen area and seating area. In the bathroom, there is a toilet, shower and washing machine. A large balcony faces the lake, with seating under a pergola, and guests have their own access to the entire balcony. Possibility to borrow a rowboat and life jackets. Towels and sheets are not included, but are available to rent for SEK 150/set. Cleaning is not included in the accommodation.

Right next to the northern ski area of ​​Järvsöbacken, 50 meters to the newly opened 6- chip lift (walk-out / ski-in), 200m to Skicenter North 50m to the lakefront beach and dock (across the road) and with the northern MTB-trails literally around the corner, lies this charming log cabin with space for up to 12 people. A modern house with a stunning view from the large porch with beautiful views over the lake. The newly built guest house is large, light and spacious with high ceilings and fireplace. Newly made beds and cleaning are included. Private beach with access to rowing boat, canoe and SUP. Bicycles are also available. Possibility of a wood-fired sauna with ice bath right by the lake for a low cost. Torsby skitunnel just 5 min away. Wintertime ski trails just around the corner if snow.

A home closer to the water is probably hard to find. Taking the boat or in winter time going out to Holmen outside to grill and watch the sunrise is an extra plus. Please also refer to my guidebook that is in my profile. The internet works well with mobile broadband via Telia and others. Winter info: Romme Alpin and Kungsberget are slalom slopes 65 km away. Ryllshyttebacken is a nice family hill 12 km away. 2-4 kicks are available to borrow.

Quality living in a quiet place with lot's of opportunities in the winter like slalom, cross-countryskiing, skating or take a sauna bath. In the summer you can use the rowing boat for fishing, take a swim from the private pontoon in to the lake or relaxing on the veranda or the greenhouse. Perfect place for family and friends. A big modern kitchen and a living room with a lot's of space. The house is close to Järvsö, the Bike Park and Järvzoo.

After a gravel road up on a mountain in the heart of the fine forest you will find the tranquility of this gem with everything needed for a wonderful holiday. Here you live with the silence in the middle of nature, right by a lake but with all the amenities you might need. In the nearby area there are several lakes and nice fishing waters, the opportunity to pick berries and mushrooms, hike or why not take a ride on any snowmobile trail.
