Vacation rentals with lake access in Dalarna County

We stayed Jasenkos place at Oxberg during Vasaloppet 2025. Cabin, place and atmosphere were perfect for our trip. Thank you! These could be great area and house during summer holiday.

Great place! We had a little trouble with heat but it was something that we didn't communicate to the landlord, so I don't think it's a problem, it's probably just set up.

A big thank you to Åke for his kindness and availability. The house is superb, on the lakefront, identical to the photos. We had a lot of fun discovering ockelbo and its surroundings. Hiking, swimming, sightseeing, boat rides and gourmet food, everything to have a good time. The house is superb and lacks nothing, lots of games too so that our 2-year-old and 4-year-old children can enjoy themselves during time at home. Everything is there for a great stay. The bedding is perfect, the kitchen functional. We didn't want for anything. Åke is adorable and responded to us very easily and advised us throughout our stay. Thanks for a great adventure in Sweden thanks to you! 4 French people discovering Sweden for the first time but not the last!

Easy to communicate with the host, we got heads up info that the door was malfunctioning and that it would be fixed. However, we did not experience any problems with the door but nice with fast and efficient communication. There was a mattress topper missing in one of the beds but otherwise everything was perfect. Very nice place, fantastic with the river so close, high cosiness factor, warm and good, but still feeling of space and space. We mostly went skiing in Idre Fjäll but can imagine coming back just to live there and hike around the surroundings. There were exciting animal tracks towards the river and we probably heard a moose walking through the ice and splashing up, so I can imagine that there is plenty of wildlife nearby.

Our stay was fantastic! The location is stunning—remote, private, and peaceful. The house is beautifully designed, very clean, and well-equipped. Each of the four bedrooms has a spacious bed, likely queen-sized, ensuring a comfortable stay. The kitchen had everything we needed. The sauna and jacuzzi were wonderful additions, making our experience even more relaxing. Mattias is an excellent host—friendly, communicative, and helpful during the whole time. He gave us a thorough tour upon arrival. Overall, everything was great, and we had an amazing time. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely incredible stay! The photos on Airbnb don’t do the place justice—both the house and its surroundings are even more magical and inviting in person. It is an amazing property! The spacious kitchen is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy cooking, and the house is stocked with all kinds of games and books for entertainment. The bed- and bathrooms are wonderfully comfortable, and the view of the river is simply breathtaking. Ivo thoughtfully provided a fantastic list of activities, including more than we had time for! From ski rentals and cross-country trails to shopping and local attractions, everything was perfectly described. We felt very welcome. Thank you so much! We visited in winter, but we’ll definitely be back in the summer!

Winter in Sweden. The house in Gesundaberget was a fine home base for ice skating in Mora and on Lake Orsame, for cross country skiing and skiing. Cross-country skiing around Mora means you are on the trail of the annual Vasaloppet. For Dutch people with their Elfstedentocht skate enthusiasm special to do. But just 500 meters from the house pick up the track was also great. Walking in the snow is possible from the house. Through fresh & deep snow, make a path to the illuminated and snowmobiled snow trail. Wonderful. At full moon a nice trip in the evening. After a day of action, you came to a nice warm house and we could enter the sauna. Also we could cook good meals in the well appointed kitchen. Great! With five adults we had a great time. It was easy to communicate with Pierre. We warmly recommend the house.

Always nice and good at Anna and Pelle's place. Good and orderly accommodation.

Jean was very customer oriented and everything was great! About 10 minutes to the slopes. Good equipment in kitchen and good beds. Can recommend this home and host!

Very satisfied with my stay at this place. My whole family enjoyed the experience of living in an ethnic setup very well maintained by the host. Even if host was not around during my stay, they put me in contact with a neighbour whom I could have contacted in case of any need. Overall I felt at home and enjoyed my small vacation in Leksand

Cozy accommodation. Great with space, both spacious kitchen and living room. All the basics you needed were there. Bed linens and towels were available at no extra cost which is a bonus so you do not have to pack yourself. Alekandar was a very good host and was easy to get in touch with when we needed it. Recommend anyone who has the roads past Jädraås to stay a night here!

A nice and cozy accommodation that I can highly recommend to others.

It's always nice to stay at this place. We will be happy to come back several times. you have everything you need and then some. It is very well located and centrally located in Orsa. Close to the campsite and nice Orsasjön. Lena is always very nice responsive.

Incredibly homey there, we settled in right away. Cozy decorated for Easter😃 Very clean and welcoming. Neat and tidy dialogue with Mathias & Josefine as well. We gladly came back again. RECOMMENDED😉!!!

We had an amazing week. The house is perfectly planned and the view of the lake is magical. You don't want to go back home:) There was no bathing weather when we were in place (the dog was swimming though) but I can imagine it's super cozy to take a swim during the summer and when the dock is in place. This is the cottage I dreamed of as a student. I can stay here forever if time permits. Stefan greeted me very warmly and introduced me to all the facilities in the cottage in detail. Stefan and Anja are very respectful of guests' privacy and will never interfere with guests' living space unless necessary, but if you seek their support, they will be very timely and enthusiastic to help. This is a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city! You can even have your honeymoon here.

Second year in a row that we live in Norrliftsstugan. This time with newly renovated kitchen and bathroom! Perfect accommodation with crawling distance to new north lift, hot tub outside and nice sauna etc. We will be back!
