Absolutely beautiful place, even in the rain it was just simply stunning. Hosts were great, friendly and couldn’t do more to help. Cabin was stunning, totally immaculate and felt just like home. Hot tub was amazing and super clean. We will definitely return here.
A war memorial statue stands prominently, depicting a soldier with his head bowed. It is enclosed by a black wrought iron fence and surrounded by well-maintained flower beds. Nearby, a quaint village street can be seen with stone buildings and trees lining the area.

Country house on edge of beautiful village

LeeRating, 5 stars7 months ago
A lovely home from home in a village with some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. Ended up leasing a property near by because I loved it so much! Lindsay is a great host going that extra mile to make sure our stay was perfect and problem free.

Garden Cottage in tranquil North Pennine valley

LeeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The garden cottage was a really great place to stay. Great scenery and very spacious. Easily commutable to many attractions and areas to see plenty of walking routes dog friendly as the gardens are great and secure. Only thing would recommend is that you make sure you have all you need for groceries as you are out and about as the nearest small shop is 7 miles away in the next village. All in all a great place to stay very spacious would definitely recommend if you want to visit Northumberland.

7 Front Street

Lovely well-equipped little cottage with a very homely feel. There was a slight mix up on arrival but Sarah and her team were quick to resolve and it did not detract from what was a very pleasant short stay.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Very spacious, tastefully furnished and well equipped. Lots of great walks in the area and a nice pub just a few doors away. Great communication by Fiona and there are lots of guidebooks and information at the cottage for days out. Would definitely stay here again.

Really beautiful wild place - with a beautiful mowed path to the cabin and a field of cows to share it with. Loved the outdoor bath. Linen bed linen. & veranda that sounds gorgeous when it rains. Also close to a Buddhist monastery up the hill. John was so lovely & let us check out later for my birthday. Thank you John!!
