Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Cythera

Everything perfect for us. We were also able to enter the house early, everything was very clean and nothing was missing. Water and fruit and basic things like salt and pepper were available. Everything worked. We expected the house to be located directly on the shore of the lake. That's how it looked in the photos. However, it is on the mountain. By car, it's about 10 minutes to the lake. Thank you for everything, we had a good time here. One of the dogs lying around outside became our friend :-)

The place exceeded our expectations, it’s even better than the photos. Very clean, just a 10minute walk to the old town, and you can literally dive into the sea right across the street. There are also plenty of parking spots, as well as food and coffee nearby, which was super convenient.

Great communicative host, beautiful house - the pictures don’t do it justice!

This was easily the best Airbnb of our holiday! The photos from the balcony window which are on the property listing do not do this place justice. It was so nice to enjoy the view while we ate breakfast outside on the balcony. It was also much larger in person than what I had imagined. I really appreciated that the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed to make our own meals. We had a hire car with us, there is public parking at the steps to the property and we were able to get a park there immediately with no issues. The property is also so close to the archaeological site as well as other walking tracks, it was the perfect location for us. We only stayed one night but it would have been better to stay 2. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!!

Christoforos was very kind and helpful at check in and available to message throughout the trip if we needed any information. One of the best hosts we’ve had. The villa is super clean and has got a lot of character as is decorated with very traditional furniture. The outside alone is worth booking this villa- it is absolutely breathtaking and the loungers by the pool are perfect. If you’re looking for somewhere as a retreat and to really relax in peace away from everyone then this is the place. You can park around 100m away from the house and a scenic walk down to the property. I will be returning to this place for sure- it felt like a home at the end of our week. We especially loved Portaria for food and the evening vibe and it is only a 12 minute drive from the property. I would also recommend a small car for Pelion as the roads are quite thin and tight. Overall this place is amazing value for money and we miss it already!

Wonderful, warm and relaxing accommodation! Stamatis is superbly welcoming, the village is a haven of peace, authentic and the beaches accessible in about ten minutes on foot are extraordinary! A true paradise!

Dina's home is absolutely stunning. It has everything we could possibly need. The views are breathtaking, and the host is incredibly kind. We truly wished our stay could have been extended. I noticed some comments regarding the stairs leading up to the house, but we have three little ones and had no difficulty navigating them; in fact, we found the walk quite pleasant. We took our time to soak in the scenery. Dina was even generous enough to allow us a later check-out since our ferry departure was scheduled for later on. All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend Dina's house. Everything was simply perfect.

We stayed 3 nights in this mini apartment with its fabulous view. Although we could have driven more around the area to explore, we found ourselves just wanting to sit on the terrace and its cushioned couch and listen to the waves while reading books! It was incredibly relaxing and quiet with just the sound of the waves. You can easily walk to Monemvasia town to visit (half hour), and can walk to dinner in the town of Gefira which is much nicer than we expected. There is a supermarket nearby (also walking distance).

an incredible place! it was beautiful, we met zouzou the little puppy (always a bonus), it was clean and the host was super responsive. the balcony was our favourite part with the view overlooking the ocean. The host also welcomed us with a bottle of rose which was an incredibly nice touch and made us feel immediately at home. Overall 10/10 stay and I highly recommend this airbnb.

Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Athens. It was within walking distance of most attractions but also close to the underground too! The apartment was beautiful, clean and exactly as the photos shown. We had a lovely stay here and would 100% stay again!

we stayed here for 4 nights and our favorite part was sitting out on the balcony and taking in the views. A cute little walkway is just below, going along the water to a nice pier. You definitely need a car since it's out of any tourist area, but the drive there is really nice, about 2 hrs from Athens and only 20 min from Nafplio. Lots to discover all around. Christos is a great host, very responsive and had alot of great recommendations. One thing I would note; road noise can be loud since you're so close to a road (earplugs did the trick though).

Eleni’s place was wonderful, her mother met us at check in and was incredibly friendly and kind. There was fresh bread and groceries waiting for us. The house was beautiful and very well located. I would gladly stay here again!

The house is idyllic if you want to enjoy nature and privacy. It has everything you need inside. Perfect for winter and summer! It is very picturesque and very beautiful. I enjoyed every moment in this amazing house. Felt like paradise.

Our stay at Mrs. Maria's accommodation was excellent! He welcomed us with the car so that we did not have to carry our luggage and at our departure he took us back to the place where we had parked. He responded immediately to our messages and gave us detailed useful information about the area as well as the shops we could visit. Also, as a welcome, we had handmade liqueurs to try! The accommodation was spotless, just like in the photos, with all the essentials we could need. The view is amazing and the location is very good, just 3-5 minutes walk from the main street of Arachova and all the shops. Of course, I would recommend this accommodation and I would choose it again if I visited Arachova!

We stayed here for 12 days and it was great! Easy to walk to all of Athens attractions and in a nice quiet neighborhood. The apt worked perfect for two people to work remote too. Everything about it is great! We would stay here again.

We stayed here for our annual friends trip and we were blown away by how perfect the house was. It really is as luxurious as a spa but in the privacy of your own space. It was so impeccably clean as well as having every amenity you could think of. We loved the sauna especially being able to plunge into the sea after (it really is just at the end of the house!) A particular highlight was how luxurious the towels, linens and robes were - that really adds an extra touch. Beautiful location surround by citrus trees and the sea and views of mountains. Nancy and Nikolas were very friendly and super accommodating and made our stay very easy. We would recommend this in a heartbeat and we would definitely come back!

Matula was the best host we could’ve asked for and both her and her husband Christos were the most hospitable, helpful, friendly couple! The house is the best on the island! fully equipped with everything and even more than you might need. Very spacious and clean with a huge balcony that looks over the Ionian sea. The views are honestly the best in the island and the way the house is built makes sure that you can enjoy them to the max from every room! The location is great as its close to the best beaches on the island, with easy access to villages, but also remote and quiet. We will definitely be coming back very soon, there is no better place to stay at Lefkada!

We spent 10 nights at Villa Agrili, and we enjoyed every second. The location of the property is fantastic, the house itself exactly as described. The villa is secluded at the end of a private lane. You look out into the greenery and feel the sea is close enough to touch. Panos is a very good host who helped immediately with a small problem. I would highly recommend to friends and family!

Such a beautiful, relaxing place, everything was just perfect..I would give it 10 out of 5 if I could..we pretty much had the beach to ourselves, the view was to die for, watching the sun set over the sea was awesome, beds were comfy, nice linen, just lovely, a bit far to walk to the shops , Kostas was always quick to respond and really helpful with places to go, thank you Kostas.

Wow! This villa is beautiful and perfect for our family of 8. Ben and Claire couldn't help us enough and responded to us quickly if needed. We were lucky enough to stay for 10 days, half of which were spent chilling at the villa, playing in the pool and using the amazing facilities . Although a rental car is helpful getting around the island, there is a lot of lovely restaurants, bars and beaches a short drive away. We explored around the island, including Fiskardo and Antisamos, which are breathtaking. Thank you for having us, we'd be back in1 a heart beat!

Gerasimos was an amazing host. He made sure we had all the information and things we needed. He was there to great us at the house and give us a tour. The villa was absolutely stunning and the view was arguably even more beautiful. Everything was modern, clean and each room was special in different ways. Couldn’t recommend this place more and I’m definitely going to try to return in the future!!!
