Bungalow vacation rentals in Cythera

We had a brilliant stay at the Tasos Villas bungalow. The place & pool area were stunning, exactly like the photos & although close to both beach and Kalamaki centre, it was peaceful and private. We could only book 5 days here of our week in Zakynthos due to an existing booking, so were moving on for the last two nights, but we didn’t want to leave & could have stayed much longer. The welcome pack really was very welcome as we hadn’t had chance to shop & were not hiring a car until the last few days. The hosts had thought of everything, the kitchen is well equipped but big supermarkets are close to the airport (Lidl) & Zakynthos town (mymarket) so if you want to take advantage of the awesome gas BBQ & outdoor dining area you definitely need to drive to one of these to get proper evening meal supplies, as we found the local shops in Kalamaki are not stocked for this, so we ate out every night. Our stay was simply amazing! The apartment was extremely clean and cozy, with an ideal location right next to the beach. Our hosts, Evangelia and her husband, were incredibly sweet and hospitable, always available whenever we needed recommendations for activities and entertainment in the area. We would definitely return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a warm, friendly atmosphere!

Absolutely a great place to stay. Location is fantastic and the neighborhood is warm and inviting. If you’re lucky you will get to see some locals playing backgammon at sunset at the beach, one block away.

We saw Sarakiniko cottage last time we visited Poros Kefalonia and always wanted to stay there and we were so happy we came back. We had a lovely relaxing week and so thankful to Babis and his wife who were wonderful hosts, thanks so much!

The place is wonderful - right next to the beach. Our host Emmanouil was responsive, communicative and friendly, making us feel at home. We felt like a part of his family. The place looked like in the pictures and even better - there two places on the outside where you can sit and relax. The inside is fully equipped, clean and tidy. We had a great Greek vacation. Highly recommended host and place!

This place is a hidden gem. Just a few meters away from the sea in a beautiful and quiet spot where you can relax and enjoy all the perks of the city of Kalamata. The house is perfect for a 4 member family and its proximity to the beach makes it ideal for families with small children. It is a beautiful clean and cozy cottage with hosts who really care and want you to enjoy your staying there. The little details make this place exceptional. Thank you so much!

We really enjoyed our stay at Popi’s bungalow. It is a lovely house with a beautiful view of the sea and the garden. We sat out on the balcony as much as possible. Spotlessly clean, great beds, a fabulous welcome pack of goodies and home cooked moussaka. Two fantastic beaches in short walking distance. My son loved jumping off the rocks and the swimming was wonderful. We’d love to return! Thank you Popi

It's hard to describe how lovely Perseus House is. It's a simple, one room space and the interior is rustic but it's really well set out and comfortable and suited us very well for our six day stay. The outstanding element is the location, it's just stunning. There are three houses, the taverna and a tiny church. Perseus house is beautifully positioned right at the waters edge of the small harbour, with crystal clear, shallow water that you can plunge right into - we swam a lot! Paths and trails skirt the peninsula and the proximity to nature is amazing. Fish at the Taverna is caught in the bay, and utterly delicious. You will need a car as it's out of the way, but there is a small town about ten minutes away for essentials and more great restaurants. Thanks Dimitrious for sharing this beautiful place, we loved it.

Beautiful views beyond the sea , little noise from the street, rather quiet. Great every day room service. Super restaurant from the owner around the corner All around excellent only wifi worked only on the doorstep. Highly recommended!

My husband and I had a gorgeous few days here. We loved being off the beaten path in this gorgeous setting. I had a little trouble getting there bc my maps kept taking me to the tavern parking lot but Dionysus was very responsive and checked to make sure we had everything we needed - including fresh local fruits and garden herbs. This home was created with tender loving care and a welcoming spirit. It would be a dream to go back.

We had very nice 10 days. The house is very quiet and is very nicely furnished, a nice large garden with old olive trees can be enjoyed with sun loungers and hammock, we felt very comfortable. Iris will send all the necessary information before arrival, including GPS data for easy arrival and responds to inquiries very quickly and helpful. The beach is a 15-minute walk away. We looked at some other beaches, Santa Barbara was the one we liked best. We will be back next year and have already booked.
