Bungalow vacation rentals in Cythera

We had a brilliant stay at the Tasos Villas bungalow. The place & pool area were stunning, exactly like the photos & although close to both beach and Kalamaki centre, it was peaceful and private. We could only book 5 days here of our week in Zakynthos due to an existing booking, so were moving on for the last two nights, but we didn’t want to leave & could have stayed much longer. The welcome pack really was very welcome as we hadn’t had chance to shop & were not hiring a car until the last few days. The hosts had thought of everything, the kitchen is well equipped but big supermarkets are close to the airport (Lidl) & Zakynthos town (mymarket) so if you want to take advantage of the awesome gas BBQ & outdoor dining area you definitely need to drive to one of these to get proper evening meal supplies, as we found the local shops in Kalamaki are not stocked for this, so we ate out every night. Georgia ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, bei der man sich sehr wohlgefühlt hat. Die Kommunikation war super einfach und sie war immer gut zu erreichen. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr gut, da man von dort aus alles auf der Insel erreichen kann. Danke, für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Nantina’s place was fantastically situated on the beach with its own garden. The house was spotless and Nantina was extremely proactive to all our queries and had a very good communication instructions to get to the house even though we only arrived at 12.30am nighttime. We stayed at the end of October so most beach restaurants were closed but we were happy to shop and eat in. The weather was a perfect 22 degrees and blue skies. We’ll be back!

Bill and his wife care for there guests. The house is close to the village, close to the sea but the beach is not the best one. . The place is quiet. The renewed batroom is top ! The Kitchen équipement is reduced to minimum but maybe you don't coock when in vacations. I recommand this place.

This was one of the best places I’ve ever been on Airbnb, it had everything we needed and more :) The host was lovely, she really made us feel like at home and provided us with plenty of water and a bottle of wine which we really appreciated :) The garden in which the bungalow is creates a quiet and shaded environment which is perfect for sleeping at night, you can barely hear the planes and the nearby restaurants (which was good as I have trouble sleeping with noises), and also coming back to the apartment with maya (the beagle) greeting us was lovely :)

This is the only Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in more than once, which should say everything! Just the perfect spot, with a great pool, BBQ, nearby almost private beach and a short walk into Poros. We hope to be back again in the future!

This place is a hidden gem. Just a few meters away from the sea in a beautiful and quiet spot where you can relax and enjoy all the perks of the city of Kalamata. The house is perfect for a 4 member family and its proximity to the beach makes it ideal for families with small children. It is a beautiful clean and cozy cottage with hosts who really care and want you to enjoy your staying there. The little details make this place exceptional. Thank you so much!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen und erholsamen Urlaub! Die Unterkunft ist mit sehr viel Liebe gestaltet worden und auch das Personal ist äußerst zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit ! Fühlten uns rund um die Uhr sehr wohl . Es herrscht eine familiäre Atmosphäre und man kann hier wirklich abschalten ! Mit dem Taxi oder Auto kann man die Gegend erkunden ! Ein paar Minuten entfernt ist ein kleiner Supermarkt !

The location is absolutely beautiful. The property is right on the beach just one flight of stairs down from the garden and you're on a beautiful soft sandy beach, which was perfect for our young kids. The apartment had folding chairs and and umbrella which we used on the beach. the kitchen had plenty of utensils, tea towels, cleaning products etc. There were also plenty of towels including beach towels and a lovely cleaner came once during our stay and replenished for us. The linen on the beds was crisp and fresh, "hotel style". The apartment isn't huge but as a family of 5, we found that as long as we were organised, it was all we needed. There's ample storage in the bedrooms so we emptied our suitcases right away snd made ourselves at home. We hired a car which I would highly recommend as until around end April/May, a lot of the local restaurants etc are closed. There's a couple of pretty villages close by with some lovely Taverns and some major locations are easily accessible. Fab!

Die Wohnung hat der Beschreibung entsprochen und es war sehr sauber und ruhig. Wir waren allerdings auch die einzigen Feriengäste dort. Daher haben wir kein Vergleich. Die Terasse mit Sitzecke ist sehr gemütlich und wir haben sie auch ausgiebig genutzt. Da wir eher den Norden der Insel erkundet haben, war die Wohnung ein guter Ausgangspunkt für unsere Tagesausflüge. Der Kontakt ging über Spiros. Er hat bei Fragen immer schnell reagiert und konnte helfen.

Ein sehr schöner kleiner Bungalow mit liebevollen Details Mitten im Olivernhain mit einem zauberhaften Garten mit Hollywoodschaukel Und ausreichend Möbel , um auch draussen zu sitzen und zu essen Verträumt und ruhig in einer schönen Landschaft Der ruhige naturbelassene Strand ist fussläufig in 5-10 Minuten erreichbar Im April hatte ich meistens den Strand ganz alleine Sehr erholsam. Auch meine Familie hat sich sehr wohlgefühlt und wir konnten jederzeit mit unserem Gastgeber kommunizieren. Der Willkommensgruß ,Olivenöl und Oliven aus eigenem Anbau, hat uns sehr erfreut Vielen Dank

Sofronios' bungalow on lovely Agni beach was everything we hoped it would be! Cute, comfortable, and literally steps from the beach. The bathtub was a real bonus! Everything was easy and straightforward from check in to check out. Unfortunately, we arrived a little late in the season, so the restaurants and tavern on the beach were already closed for the winter, but there were still two small supermarkets and other restaurants still open a short 15 minute hike away along a lovely coastal trail. We very much enjoyed the hiking in the area. We also had regular cute kitty visitors in the front courtyard. The only recommendation is could make would be to have some cooking essentials onhand (i.e., salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar, and maybe some coffee and tea) so one doesn't have to buy these only to use for a few days. But other than that, super!

This was the best airbnb experience we have ever had!!! The location was AMAZING. This place is like heaven. Private, peaceful and serene with sunrises, moonrises and sunsets over the Ionian Sea! Amazing swimming in the private cove. The water is beautiful and crystal clear blue! We walked 10 mins to the restaurant and swam in the other cove. We went with the host on his boat and had an amazing tour of the beaches and blue caves. This was an incredible experience that felt like we found Heaven!!

Although I booked this place for the beautiful balcony view, unfortunately I didn't fully enjoy it because I had to visit all the beautiful places around Paul's bangalow. The bangalow has all comforts and even in a rainy day you can enjoy staying on the balcony listening the raindrops in front of you, drinking your coffee in the middle of a beautiful olive grove, from which generous Paul gave us a bottle of olive oil as gift. Paul has made reality the dream of every human, to own a piece of land in this blessed area. I am happy I met Paul because he is a very nice and intelligent man who is always there for you so as to knock out every need you have and I wish I had more time to hang out with him.

Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub genossen. Das Haus und die Lage sind sehr schön und das Geld wert. Der Blick über die Olivenbäume auf das Meer war so wie wir es uns vorgestellt und erträumt hatten. Am Pool gab es nicht nur vier sehr bequeme Liegen sondern auch eine gemütliche Sitzecke. Unter den Olivenbäumen gab es einen weiteren Tisch mit vier Stühlen im Schatten. Was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat war, dass die Matratze im kleineren Bett sehr weich war. Im großen Bett sind die Matratzen dagegen sehr hart gewesen. Hier würde ich vorschlagen in neue und qualitativ hochwertigere Matratzen zu investieren. Die Hausreinigung könnte etwas gründlicher sein und dabei sollten nach jeder Abreise auch die Abflüsse im Bad gereinigt werden. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt, können dieses Haus mit guten Gewissen empfehlen und würden dieses auch selber wieder buchen. 5 Sterne ***** :-)
