The apartment is in a perfect location – everything is within walking distance, yet it is very quiet thanks to being set in a courtyard. It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped, and had everything we needed. The hosts were incredibly friendly and always responded quickly. Just a couple of small things to be aware of: there is no traditional window, only a glass pane above the door, which limits natural light. Additionally, heating is provided by a mobile electric heater rather than a central heating system, so it can feel a bit cooler depending on the weather. That said, we still had a very pleasant stay and would absolutely recommend this place!

Además, hay varias opciones de comida muy buenas a pocos pasos, lo que hizo todo aún más cómodo. Ideal para quienes buscan relajarse y disfrutar de la magia de Cusco con la tranquilidad que ofrece este sector. ¡Totalmente recomendado!

I had the most wonderful three days at Veronica’s. This is the perfect place if you want something quiet, peaceful, romantic, and removed from the city centre, then this is the place. There are no restaurants near the bungalow but there is a local Tienda (shop) where you can buy some items to cook. The walk down into the centre of town took me about 30 minutes. I recommend you take a taxi because the bungalow is located atop the surrounding hills/mountains that are above Cusco and it can be very steep hike for most of the journey up or down into town. Taxis are very affordable. I loved it here, I hope you do too! Veronica and her family that run the air bnb are so very helpful and kind. I had a fire every night in the fireplace. It’s simply wonderful.

Mi estadía fue de un poco más de un mes en casa de Ana, una hermosa casa muy familiar y sobretodo espaciosa para que mis 4 hijos puedan jugar y disfrutar de nuestras vacaciones … muy acogedora la casa y sobre todo tiene todo al alcance de la mano ( restaurantes, mercado, tiendas, etc ) Muy recomendable :)

Hermoso y tranquilo lugar lejos del ajetreo de la ciudad. Muy bien amoblado, equipado e incluso decorado. La decoración de navidad le dio un plus mágico al lugar. Muy cálido, bien cuidado e impecable. La vista tanto del balcón, de la habitación incluso por el techo de la cocina son espectaculares y especiales. Tiene todo lo necesario, incluso pequeñas cosas muy convenientes como botiquín, impermeables, mantas extra y juegos de mesa que marcan la diferencia. Trato A1 de Lia como anfitriona, muy receptiva, amigable, atenta a preguntas y sugerencias del lugar y la ciudad. Una bienvenida cálida y gestos lindos como algunos snacks, infusiones y condimentos en la cocina. Todos los ambientes interiores y exteriores como el jardín estuvieron excelentes! Una experiencia muy linda que definitivamente recomendaría. Gracias por todo Lia :D

This space is beautiful. A large yard, fire pit, grill, gardens. The view is absolutely incredible. Silvia and her husband are kind and generous. They took me on a hike to see the local archeological sites behind the property. We had a few delicious meals together. They have many herbs and other plants and edibles growing on the property that are used in cooking and for teas. They are both knowledgeable about plants as medicine and very connected to the Earth. There was also a very adorable and sweet dog on the property who lives in the gated entry way, but if you want to hang out you can let him into the main area. Wifi was excellent. I spent a lot of time working on my laptop doing a lot of video calls. It only went down one time during my month long stay for a couple early morning hours. The big markets are a bit far away, a taxi will cost 10-15 soles to get back with groceries, but there are a numerous tiendas nearby with basically everything you need.

En general encontré todo muy bien. El único tema es que el agua no salía lo suficiente calientita como para tener un duchazo agradable y tampoco había un tapete al salir de la regadera y bajo la cama que ayudarían mucho a no padecer las noches y mañanas frías de Cusco. Fuera de eso todo muy bien, la vista increíble, la atención muy buena, la gente amable y el lugar muy bonito! Está cerca de san Blas en donde hay muchos locales de comida y artesanías.

Our stay with Liz & Fabian was everything we'd hoped. It's far from the centre of Cusco, but with guidance from Fabian we were quickly able to navigate taxi's & local buses. There is also a great scenic walk down the old Incan road to the centre. If you want a peaceful stay this is the place to go. The neighborhood has a few stray dogs that bark at night, but outside the centre this pretty much happens anywhere in Cusco. There are great walks straight from the doorstep so if you like to hike this is ideal. We were made to feel welcome and quickly made friends with the hosts, and their 3 friendly dogs and cat. The cabin is seperate to their own house so is very private and quiet. We can't wait to stay here again the next time we are in Cusco as it became a home away from home.

Me and my family loved our stay with our "host family" as we call them. We stayed at this property as it is walking distance from the train station, and we had an early morning train to Machu Picchu the next day. Isaac coordinated for a private taxi to pick us up at the Cusco airport and take us to the property. Upon our arrival the family was eager to speak with us and they had their language translators ready (we do not speak Spanish and they did not speak much English) but with the help of technology we communicated smoothly. They started preparing us a vegan dinner of soup, corn, and bread, and served us coca and manzanilla tea upstairs in our rooms while we waited for dinner to be ready. The next morning they served us oatmeal, tea, juice, bread, jam, and guacamole before walking us to the train station. Their food was some of the best we had on our entire vacation. Isaac even offered to come to Machu Picchu with us to be our tour guide. We felt very comfortable with this family!

This hotel is very close to Centro Historico, very walkable to great restaurants and shops. The hotel itself was ok. The laundry service is nice, but a bit pricey 15 sol per kg/2lb. The room we stayed in was nice with a balcony. Filtered water was always available. The bathroom is in the room with no privacy, so you can hear everything someone is doing on/in the toilet, which isn't so romantic. Overall okay stay, we'd stay somewhere else next time we visit Cusco.

Manuel & his mother, Rosa, are the kindest and most helpful humans I’ve come across on Air BnB. I enjoyed many meals with Rosa practicing my Spanish. She even gave me a cooking lesson on my last day. I really liked my stay at Wilar's house, the view from the apartment is amazing. The apartment is warm, has a lot of light and is cozy. It's at about 20 minutes walking from Cusco's main square, so we just walked every day. Wilar and his family were very friendly and helpful.

Este lugar es increíble! Está ubicado muy cerca del centro centro arqueológico sacsayhuaman. Para ir al centro de Cusco puedes ir caminando; que es una caminata súper linda para ver todo Cusco y conocer más callecitas, también puedes tomar un taxi por solo 10 soles. Cuenta con todo lo que necesitas, tiene un patio súper lindo para una parrillada o un fueguito, puedes cocinar, hacer yoga en la salita (si olvidas tu mat no te preocupes, Carlos hasta en eso pensó! 🙃) y la privacidad es lo mejor! También tiene un bosque alrededor que te da demasiada tranquilidad con sus sonidos y para trabajar es súper relax! Y lo mejor es que Carlos es guía de turismo y cuenta con una agencia certificada, así que si también necesitas quién te ayude encontraste a la persona correcta, hicimos varios tours con él y fueron lo mejor, aparte nos recomendó lugares lara comee buenísimos! De fijo vamos a regresar! No lo pienses más...bookea ya este lugar! La casa del árbol te va a encantar!🏕️🩵
