Best Airbnb stay we have had ! Catherine/Kevin were great at communicating all about the check in and they were super flexible. When we arrived they had a care package for us with cookies and wine and a frozen pizza and a bundle of turf The hot tub was as a great addition. 3 minute walk to the local pub with trad music and great food ! This place is a true gem - we are definitely going to come back !

Stunning cottage, very clean and tidy with a bonus of the hot tub which was easy enough to set up . Located in such a peaceful area with an easy and quick to drive into town.

Grace's house was a real treat! Nestled away in the trees overlooking the river made it feel so private and peaceful. The house itself was so cosy, clean and inviting but had plenty of space and different areas to relax. The grounds were amazing and the kids had a ball discovering the swings, hottub and reading shed. The whole place was magical and we were sad to leave. Grace was very responsive to any communication and made us feel so welcome. The house location was a great base for some of the stunning sights Donegal has to offer and we were very close to many beautiful sandy beaches. This house was the best airbnb we have ever stayed in! My partner, doggy and myself had an incredible time at Catrionas. We stayed for two nights and sat in both evenings and enjoyed the amenities. Catriona has three lovely dogs and so many cute farm animals - we were lucky enough to see baby bell as a 3 week old lamb. Most importantly Catriona was very accommodating of our dog who can be a bit funny (being very kind), she was a great host. Her place is the most perfect tranquil piece of heaven! Would recommend it to everyone :)

I’d highly recommend staying here! The place was amazing, with lots of amenities nearby. The views are incredible - the cabin and location look exactly like the photos. Peter was an excellent host and was extremely helpful, from providing help with the hot tub to giving a run down of all the local amenities and activities. We really enjoyed our time here (despite the relentless rain lol) and would definitely return for another stay.

The house is gorgeous and so cosy. Mairead was so friendly and helpful and we had a brilliant time. pics don't do it justice was a fab little retreat. absolutely recommend. Glenties is a lovely wee town too and locals were so friendly. had an amazing trip

If I could put 6 stars I would! What an outstanding cottage! Hannah’s place was the perfect stay. There was 4 of us staying and we had plenty of space, it had everything you’d need to cook with and not leave the house for days! The little goodie basket was a lovely surprise! The surroundings are beautiful, we sat in the hot tub and appreciated the stunning view! Then we moved inside and watched the sunset from the back room of the cottage with panoramic windows! If you’re looking for a tranquil stay with classic Donegal views and authentic feeling cottage with a modern touch, then this is for you! There’s clear instructions for everything in the cottage and Hannah was very easy proactive in making sure our check in and stay went as smooth as possible! The beds were comfy, everything was spotless and your only a 2 minute drive from the local town with a great pub, breakfast spot and local shop! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Donegal! Beautiful little cottage! Exceeded expectations of how beautiful and cute it was. The cottage itself is stunning, we felt so cosy and really enjoyed our time together as a family, plenty of board games supplied too, which was great to get the kids away from their devices and some family time! The wood burning stove was beautiful and made us feel even more cosier! Wholesome night together and we already can’t wait to come back. Very warm welcome, and gifting us honey and eggs from the farm was so special. Beautiful place, home and surroundings.

This was the best stay we have ever had. The cottage was spacious and lovely. We loved our animal neighbors and the beautiful views from the windows. The hosts graciously showed us the home and gave great recommendations for the local area. This stay is absolutely worth the fair price being asked. We will stay here anytime we are in the area in the future and highly recommend it to anyone. Also, the fresh bread and food basket were amazing and a huge help. Thank you so much.

Kitty’s Cottage is the most beautiful cottage we have stayed in. Photos don’t do this place justice, it’s even more perfect in person. Stunning views and a big private garden that our dogs absolutely loved! It had everything we needed and was super clean and comfy. We loved every moment of our time at kitty’s cottage and can’t wait to come back. If you’re looking to stay somewhere with Mountain View’s that’s peaceful, private and dog friendly this is the place for you! Kathleen is also a lovely host and left us wine, cake and flowers.

The best holiday I've ever had. Paddy is a kind, loving human being. He made the stay in his beautiful cottage an incredible experience. Jack ,his Collie, is always there at the front door to entertain you. I'll miss him and playing ball with him and the other dogs. The cottage is absolutely spotless. A most wonderful surrounding of green lawns and all kept in meticulous order. A lovely stream flows nearby the cottage, giving it all a very quaint feeling. There is so much to do in the aera and all within minutes of the cottage, so you don't have to waste time, by driving long distances, to visit places of interest. Glenveagh National Park is stunning. Ard Park is a must see, beaches to walk on and trails full of interesting flora & fauna. The Poison Glen, a sight to behold, with clear water lakes. Not to be missed. Thank you Paddy so, so much for allowing me to stay in your delightful cottage, where I felt , more, than at home. I will certainly, without hesitation be back.

Just back from a relaxing break and highly recommend this beautiful place. Noreen and Rory were lovely, down to earth people and i even got to cuddle Rory,s brother,s pet lamb! Our dogs had a blast too with a huge front garden and nearby forest walks and beaches. Will be back for sure. Thanks Noreen, Rory and Bruno their lovely sheepdog!

This was a beautiful home. everything you needed was there. House was spotless and clean. The views were beautiful from the house. Shop was just down the road so easy for getting the things we needed for staying at the house. We went to a pub which was a bit of a distance for walking but local taxi services were always on hand and local taxi numbers were available at the house on who to contact as well. All in all a beautiful place to stay and I would highly recommend this house and would go back to stay here if visiting Donegal again.

Our stay at the Caraig Cottage was everything we’d hoped for. It was cozy, warm, and relaxing and Sinead was a stellar host that went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable. The cottage itself was a stunning space of rustic beauty and serenity, which we would’ve been content with on its own, but the surrounding landscape took our experience to another level. We were immersed in the wild beauty of the mountains, lake, and blooming gardens by day and engulfed in an expansive canopy of twinkling stars by night. The experience was a true delight that left us feeling fully restored just when we needed it most. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again.

John the masters cottage is a really rare find , quirky in a good way . If you want to feel like you are going back to a bygone era, this is your place ! Lovingly restored by the owners but perhaps if you have any mobility issues this is not for you . Wifi is not great so don’t expect to work from here but if peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings along with a good book is , then you will love this . thank you to our kind hosts Orla & Damien .

We loved our month long stay in the Master's Cottage. Warm and cosy but nice light during the day. Simply equipped but we had everything we needed. We were able to do some work (good WiFi). The location was peaceful and close to so many beautiful places.

Our four night stay at Le Petit Cottage was highly enjoyable. Tony's access instructions were straightforward to this delightful.accommodation. Of special note is the the excellent garden at the back of the house, made even better by the somewhat unseasonably good late spring weather. We were also pleasantly surprised by the excellent provision of cooking equipment. The beds were very comfortable and we had no problems sleeping in this surprisingly rural location, given that it is within walking distance of the centre of Killybegs. We have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to anyone looking for self-catering accommodation in this part of Donegal. Mark and Maggie

Patricia was a kind and amicable host. We throughly enjoyed our peaceful stay in scenic Donegal and the cottage had everything we needed. We'd happily stay here again (maybe in the colder months so that we could light that nice stove and cosy up with some tea!) thanks again! Recommend to all!

Beautiful view and fresh sea air! Turf/peat available for burning in the fireplace although we did not use it and coffee and cookies were available upon arrival. A great stay!

Peaceful little cottage in wonderful location with fireplace and stove to keep it warm and cozy. Host thoughtfully provided coffee, cookies, and Prosecco to welcome us. In easy driving distance for exploring Donegal. Our favorite part was beautiful and remote Dooey Beach just down the road.

Beautiful place in a lovely, quiet location. The cottage was perfect in every way and Seamus was very easy to communicate with. We will most certainly be booking again for future visits to the area.
