We had a fantastic one-month stay in the French countryside with our family, including two teens. The hosts were absolutely wonderful—kind, communicative, and very thoughtful. The house was spotless and well maintained, with everything we needed. It was incredibly peaceful. The neighbors were always quiet, and we loved starting our mornings watching the sheep in the enclosure right in the backyard. We played pétanque daily and enjoyed the generous outdoor space for relaxing and soaking up the countryside. There are beautiful walks all around—our favorite was a 25-minute stroll down a quiet gravel road through forests and fields, leading to a charming village with a boulangerie and a bar. The beds were comfortable, the showers had great water pressure, and the kitchen was impressively well stocked. We arrived to find coffee and a thoughtful welcome gift. Big grocery stores in Josselin (20 min) and Vannes (30 min) were easy, scenic country drives. We'd love to return!

We had a wonderful time. The accommodation is a real cocoon, and the private swimming spa is a huge plus. The bedding is of very good quality, and the hygiene is perfect. From the terrace, we were able to enjoy the birdsong and the lighting of the castle of Josselin in the evening. Emma is a caring host, very discreet, and only present if you wish. Leaving the place on Saturday morning, I regretted that the stay was so short. This small house, ideally located, is a cocoon, where it is good to come and recharge. I would have liked to enjoy the charming garden and terrace, but the weather was not very suitable. Thanks to my hosts for this rental experience. I'll be back for my next trip to Bretonie, that's for sure.
