Lovely cottage close to Maybole, in a quiet country location. Cottage has a lovely big kitchen, lounge with log burner to keep you cosy, comfortable bedroom and bathroom with both shower and bath. There are ducks and chickens wandering around in the yard, two very friendly cats also. Perfect location to visit Culzean Castle .

Garden Cottage Ayr close to Beach and Golf Courses

AbdulRating, 5 stars3 days ago
I stayed for 2 nights at this beautiful cottage in Ayr on my first ever visit to Scotland. Very cozy, peaceful and economical place. Jean was very friendly and helpful with her detailed instructions to locate the house and flexible with my check in timing. Really loved the breakfast items, guide book for local restaurants and pubs. Very thoughtful. Highly recommended place.

Firhill . Double ensuite with super king size bed

Great place to stay. Very quiet. Marion is a lovely host and went out her way to leave special touches like plenty bottled water and tea & coffee facilities in the room. She also messaged ahead of arrival which was great. Would definitely stay again.

#1 Country Escape with Sea Views, Ayr, Ayrshire

JillianRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Claire was a warm and welcoming host who made us feel like old friends. Check-in was seamless, and the cottage was cozy, spotless, and set in one of the most breathtaking locations we’ve ever experienced. The address was a little tricky for taxis, but we found it easily ourselves. We traveled in by ferry from Belfast, which was scenic but a bit of a trek — next time, we’d recommend flying into Glasgow and renting a car for a smoother arrival. That said, once we made it to the cottage, it felt like stepping into a peaceful postcard. A group of cows lounged on the hill behind us for our entire stay — like calm, gentle neighbors. Sheep grazed right outside our door, and we passed horses along the road each time we came and went. I even managed to get our car stuck in the driveway ditch for a day, and still couldn’t complain. That’s how peaceful and restorative this place is. The stillness in Ayr is unmatched. Waking up to ocean views and the quiet rhythm of rural life was pure magic.
An open-plan living space features wooden walls and ceiling, creating a warm ambiance. A kitchen area is equipped with modern appliances, including a gas hob. Large glass doors offer views of the surrounding landscape, leading to an outdoor patio space.

Greenacres Carriage

CraigRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Absolutely loved my stay here. The hot tub with the beautiful country view or night sky is an amazing experience. The cabin was pristine on arrival and really well done up. The complimentary items are also a real nice touch that make you feel very welcomed, along with the friendly and helpful family who run the place. The Ranch is very peaceful if that's what you're looking for, there's a fairly big pool open most hours of the day and there's enough in the surrounding village and country to see and also Ayr town which is only a 20 minute drive from site. If you're a couple looking for a peaceful getaway, seeing some beautiful architecture and countryside views and getting cosy in a fancy rustic cabin then I would highly recommend this place.

Charming South Ayrshire Bungalow

WayneRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We loved having our own ensuite bathroom. The house was comfortable and we were made to feel really at home. There was a lovely walk through the woods not far from the house. We both enjoyed our stay.
An aerial view of the cottage reveals a charming structure surrounded by greenery, with well-maintained steps leading to the entrance. Rolling hills and trees frame the background, highlighting the natural setting of the upper Stinchar valley.

Pinclanty Cottage at Minuntion

IanRating, 5 stars11 months ago
A great place to stay with family while in Ayrshire to watch the Open Golf at Troon. The house is very homely, decorated and furnished to a high standard with all of the amenities you will need. One of the beds is a sofa bed but I can speak from the experience of spending 7 nights in it to say that it is very comfortable for one person. There is very ample parking. The cottage is accessed via a couple of miles of narrow lanes which adds to its charm and sense of remoteness with lots of wildlife to see along the way. Laura was a great host and supportive while not being intrusive and made it clear that she was there if we needed anything. In summary a great place to stay if you are heading to beautiful South Ayrshire.
