Family Home near Merthyr Tydfil

PushkarRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was a very spacious home with all the amenities and well-equipped kitchen. The surrounding area is beautiful and has great walks and views nearby. The communication by Natasha was excellent and she even gave perfect suggestions for things to do when asked. We only stayed for one night but this place has everything to stay for a longer duration. Definitely recommend it if you want to explore Brecon beacons.

A cosy home on a Welsh hill.

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A nice clean house with good views over the valley, within good driving distance of most places in the south of wales. Comes with a fully equipped kitchen which is a rarity! Plenty of space and a separate bathroom & toilet is nice to have. Very clean property and I hope to stay again one day.

‘Cariad’ A Romantic Off Grid Retreat in Wales

ElizabethRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Very nice place to stay!! You feel like you are part of nature. It was so lovely waking up to listen and watch the birds. The horse lorry is so cosy, the kitchen/toilet/shower area is lovely too. Charlotte is great, I had a small problem (my fault) and she responded quickly and gave great advice. Would recommend for a couples get away or just a solo trip to enjoy the surroundings :)

The Folly

SandeepaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Lovely place to stay! Can definitely keep very warm and cosy even when it is cold outside with the fire, radiator and the electric blanket! Lots of firewood was provided. Note not ideal if you want an en-suite as the bathroom is separate. Excellent location, such a beautiful and peaceful place and Richie is very helpful and clearly goes out of his way to make you feel welcome.

The Lions Den flat at the red lion public house.

HeatherRating, 5 stars12 months ago
Lovely flat. Very comfortable and well kept. Extra bedding, pillows and blankets/throws and although we didn't need it for our stay as it was a lovely ambient temperature, heating could be controlled. Very clean and fresh. Easy, private access with parking right outside and there is a one stop shop across the road. Although it's attached to the pub, it was very quiet. Host Julia was very quick to respond and couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely visit again!

South Wales Pontypool Talywain, Wooden Lodge

JeffRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is a beautiful part of south Wales. The location of the accommodation is so peaceful and the grounds are spacious ideal for dogs to run free in an enclosed area. The building itself is ideal for a couple. The living area has doors that open up to the grounds. Roger the host is a genuinely nice man, knowledgeable of the area and proactive. Regularly had a quick chat to make sure you are ok. I would be more than happy to recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet retreat.

Rural retreat within easy reach of Brecon Beacons

KerryRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Myself and partner enjoyed a bank holiday weekend stay at Cheryl's little place. We were met with a warm and inviting welcome by Jan, Cheryl's husband. Welcomed us into their home, where we met the two very friendly dog, and enjoyed a nice cup of tea. That evening after we had settled we went into the pub, and enjoyed a couple of drinks with Jan and some locals which was lovely, then left to enjoy our Chilli (which Jan had kindly made us). The accomodation was lovely, clean and with pretty much everything you need. We enjoyed not having a TV too, a nice little change. The road up to the accomodation is very steep, and windy, but there are some lovely views from at the top. If we are ever in that part of Wales again we would not hesitate to book again! The only thing I would suggest to anybody staying is to perhaps bring a sleep mask as the light comes in early morning through the skylight.
