Vacation rentals with a patio in Crete

A lovely place in a cute village, surrounded by olive trees. A gorgeous view from the terrace. The house manager communicates very well, with fast, clear and friendly instructions. Special mention: the owners Elena and Michail also run a delightful restaurant 30min away. It is well worth going, for the food, the view, but most importantly to meet with them! They have been sooo incredibly welcoming and it was a treat to have a chat with them both. I definitely recommend

Our stay at Nikos' place was just amazing. The apartment was not only easy to find, but also extremely spacious and comfortable for two people. We liked the decor very much. The location is great, whether on foot or by car, you are quickly close to restaurants, cafes and a small supermarket that offers everything you need. We especially appreciated the garden, but it was temporarily affected by a construction site, which will be over soon. We will be happy to come back!

This place was perfect for two travellers given the exceptional location and beautiful water front. Owners were very helpful and responsive to our needs. The bus service was right across the apartment which was very convenient! Breakfast was included at the restaurant across the street which was also a great addition to the trip. The only downside was the few ants found in the bathroom, other than that, this place was great and we would definitely stay here again.

All around, everything worked very well. The technology and the condition in the apartment were also impeccable. Britta welcomed us personally with her husband and showed us everything in the apartment. She had sent us some links to restaurants and breakfast cafes in advance. These were very helpful. The area also seemed safe to me and on Wednesdays there is a weekly market at the doorstep. The way into the city was very easy and good to master. Also excursion destinations such as Balos Beach, Kourtaliotis Gorge, Kournas Lake and Elafonissi Beach were easily accessible by car. If we vacation in Chania again, we'd love to stay with Britta again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It is a lovely, spacious studio apartment with good amenities whilst being very private and has lovely views from the terrace of both countryside and sea. A car is highly recommended, though the local beach, marina and tavernas are within a 25 minute walk. With easy parking, it is a good base to explore the island, whether you are looking for the vibrant shopping and historical culture of Heraklion, or the peace and tranquility of local mountain and coastal villages. Had a fantastic stay. Quiet area. 8 minutes walk from the boulevard. Supermarket is 5 minutes away. Car is handy to have to have to explore the rest of the island. Friendly people and apartment was modern and cleanly furnished. Would definitely come back jog sometime

We felt very comfortable in the stone, small summer house. We loved the courtyard covered by an old vine. In the evening you could illuminate it comfortably and beautifully. We were pleased that there were all the necessary spices in the kitchen and a bottle of red wine was on the table to welcome you. The location in a quiet side street but still only 2 minutes walk from the beach and the old village center of Colombia is ideal. The handover and communication with Dimitrios was very nice and straightforward. We are happy to recommend the place! We felt very comfortable in the small stone summer house. Feels like coming home. Beautiful garden, the premises are maintained with love. The owners clearly put a lot of effort into it, ont just a business. Everything provided that you might need plus a few nice extras like a ping-pong table. Ideal for (small) families and couples.

Excellent location and house

This is such a cozy and comfy place. Beautifully decorated and sparkling clean - you almost don't want to disturb the perfection! The beds, the massive couch in the living room are all very comfortable so we woke up every morning well rested. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and in the bathroom (the latter was stocked with soaps, shampoos and creams). There is a small outdoor space , which we made use of for afternoon drinks and breakfast. Thr place is not right next to the old city, but the parking prices are very reasonable so we just drove in and parked at a big municipal parking. The place is also great as your base for day trips around the island. Our hosts were amazing, upon arrival we found fruit, wine, bread and Michalis popped in with a plate of freshly picked strawberries. Evelina gave us lots of tips on what to do and see - all great ideas. We had a great time and highly recommend the Violin House.

We loved our stay in the villa, it was even more beautiful than the pictures. Beautiful mountain views with the privacy we were looking for. Check in was super easy, our host gave clear instructions and was helpful whenever we needed anything. Highly recommend!!

A little piace of heaven! This is not just an incredibly beautiful villa with a gorgeous garden and pool. There comes so much more with this stunning location, from the peaceful surroundings to Irina's attention to detail and kindness. If you are looking for a place to relax, recharge and enjoy Crete far from tourist spots in complete privacy this is your place.

This was one of the best houses I stayed in - really modern and great internal design. The two bathrooms are a rarity in Greece and we were really happy that we had them. We enjoyed the very comfortable beds and the pillows. A fully equipped kitchen was also a nice element to the perfect stay. Need to know that the village is on a hill and there is a narrow cobbled street (no direct access by car), but there is a small parking about 150m away from the house.

Well-renovated apartment, very spacious and with every comfort available to guests. A beautiful terrace overlooking the sea where you can admire the sunset and a well-kept garden make it truly special. Vaia, Nikolas and the whole family immediately proved to be helpful and hospitable, we remember them with affection and sympathy.

Konstantinos is a very responsive, friendly and diligent host. He provides detailed instructions on everything so that there are no hidden surprises. He is happy to provide local advice and did so for us, which proved invaluable. He and his wife Stelina, who welcomed us and let us into their property, are lovely people. They live below the flat and could not have been more friendly and approachable. I would not hesitate in recommending this property to you.

Beautiful apartment with wonderful hosts. Anastasia and John were very welcoming and provided a lovely welcome basket alongside their book of extensive local recommendations. They were helpful with any questions we had and checked in to see if we needed anything during our stay. The location is wonderful--close to the sea, just a 15-20 minute walk to the harbor, but a quiet oasis away from the town's activity when you want a break. The patio and comfy bed were such a treat, as was the kitchen for preparing some of our meals. We stayed here over 2 weeks and loved it. If you are in town on a Saturday, go to the farmers market and stay for lunch in one of the cafes! Thank you, Anastasia and John! We didn't want to leave.

Very good location. Close to the old town, about 10 minutes on foot, but at the same time very quiet and peaceful at night, you can have a great rest. I highly recommend this location

Everything was great! Very clean & spacious place. Walking distance to the beach it was max. 10 min. We were satisfied :)

Wonderful flat in Rethymno! Beautiful inside and out. So peaceful. Very comfortable. The ocean view from the surround balcony was wonderful. Plenty of space. 7+ minutes to cafes, super markets, pharmacies. Wonderful hosts. Check in and out could not be more simple. Maria was easy to contact and super helpful and kind.

We had 2 wonderful weeks in Samson's Akontio Sea View apartment. Check-in was totally flexible and easy with a key box and we arrived in a spotless apartment, where a filled fruit basket awaited us. We slept well in the large, comfortable bed, the kitchen was equipped with all the necessary utensils, so we could also take good care of ourselves. We enjoyed our breakfast on the large balcony with sea view! The location is also perfect. 10 minutes to the pretty village of Panormo with 3 beautiful beaches, several taverns, supermarkets and other shops. And when we were lazy, we swam at the small pebble beach directly below the house. The location was ideal for trips to the beautiful hinterland to the south coast between Heraklion and Chania. The contact also left nothing to be desired. Samson responded quickly and a short circuit long after work was fixed within 30 minutes. We'll be back for sure!
