We had a wonderfull time at this villa, it is in a remote and beautifully natural part of the island, the sound of sea waves and wild goats accompanied us on the terrasse. We lacked nothing in this house and were very comfortable, Giannis was very responsive and took care of everything. There are not a lot of restaurants around and the pool cannot be heated during the coldest months. This place is worth the trip!

We had a great stay! We thoroughly enjoyed the private setting and the swimming pool. The hosts left us a homemade olive oil from the local olives farm. The place had everything we needed. And it’s only 5min from the beach, or 15min to shopping. We strongly recommend going to Voulisma beach - it’s amazing! We would stay here again!

We stayed at the Zen Villa for 5 days. The individually air-conditioned rooms were dreamy. The view of the Libyan sea and the terraces are each special in themselves. There are fig, mango olive and lime trees in the garden, as well as a monkey bread tree. Giorgos took us to the villa from Moires and explained all the details. We had gotten all the groceries before, so we hardly had to leave the villa. However, the most important things such as salt, oil and coffee were found in the well appointed kitchen. Even a welcome basket with specialties was waiting for us. Communication worked flawlessly. At the beach there are sunbeds and 2 umbrellas that belong to the villa, just like a canoe with which we were happy to travel. We only took one trip to Matala, very nice, we were there until late at night. But the path over the mountain has many curves, which should be considered when someone gets slightly bad. Good for shutting down!

Excellent place to stay. Very soft and sparkling sheets ( like a dot of cream) Don’t forget to go to Sissi at the sea. A lagoon surrounded bij palmtrees. Also nice is the milatos cave. We went in too deep but found the exit again…..pfhuu When arriving at milatos beach turn left in stead of going right. Routeplanner says turn right. Turn left and after 80 meters it is on the left side of the street.

We stayed 9 nights and enjoyed the several beaches within walking distance. The supermarket, shops and restaurants are also within walking distance. We also rented a car for a few days to several cities such as Rethimno (and the Arkadi monastery) and Heraklion (and Knossos) and we visited the botanical garden and walked the Samaria gorge. Chania is close to the property and well worth visiting. Everything was present in the house!

Dimitri is a wonderful host providing excellent recommendations for things to do and places to visit. He responded quickly to any questions we had and visited several times to ensure we were satisfied with the house. He was very kind allowing us to check in early due to our very early flight and check out late due to a late departing flight. The house was exactly as presented and served our family of four well. I highly recommend staying at Dimitri’s house.
