Vacation rentals with a sauna in Crete

The house is just like the photos, it is a place to relax for a few days and enjoy the house. The owner lives next door and is very kind and attentive, we had a warm welcome, and she provided anything we needed. We spent some fantastic and unforgettable days. Also thanks to Giannis who welcomed us and advised us on the best places to visit in the area.

Had a great time at this villa! First of all, communication with Giorgos was excellent. He responded quickly and always, gave good tips, made reservations for us and was a wonderful person. Clear instructions for the self check-in and upon entry richly rewarded with a stocked fridge and delicacies from the owners Marcos and Zoi, who had once again brought along delicacies of Crete a few days later around the Christmas period. We felt very much appreciated and completely at home! Thank you for everything. The villa itself was beautiful and wonderful to live in. The sofa was soft and comfortable, the beds slept wonderfully and we of course also enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi. Lots of delicious restaurants nearby to enjoy and a personal gym in the house made sure we didn't get home with too many kilos. We had an unforgettable time and especially thanks to this accommodation and the warmth of Giorgos, Marcos and Zoi. Recommended!!!

There were two of us staying at the property for 12 nights. We enjoyed it very much. One bedroom with bathroom in the basement and one upstairs. Living room and kitchen on the first floor. A great layout. The private parking lot by the house is very convenient. Excursions by car are easily possible due to the good connection to the expressway. We walked about 15 minutes to the city center or took the bus. 150 meters from the property is a well-stocked grocery store. Antonio provided us with coffee, water, cookies, milk, eggs, bread, cheese and ham as a welcome greeting. We were well taken care of at the start. Plumbing and household items were sufficiently available. Communication with Antonio was very straightforward. He responded promptly to questions and actively asked. We felt very comfortable.

We loved our stay in this nice house. The pool and terrace was great. The kids loved to swim and play in the pool. There was enough space for the seven of us - we could have brought 2 more friends. It was great to have 4 bathrooms - so there was no arguing about who wants to shower first. For the checkin the owner welcomed us personally and even had food in the fridge for the first night/morning. All questions and small issues got solved very quickly. From the terrace you can see the snow covered mountains of crete and have a fantastic view of the sea. We had a rental car and made several daytrips to see other parts of the island and different beaches. There are a few stores in walking distance to get some basic things. Rethymno can be reached with car in a few minutes - it is a very nice town to do some shopping or enjoy good cretan food. We enjoyed our stay very much and had a relaxing time. Thank you!

We were on the fence between staying in Chania or at the beach, and made the right choice. Harilao is the most hospitable host, his recommendations were perfect and helped us plan our entire trip to Crete. The house was immaculate and exactly as described. His location was perfect for our two family group - walkable to restaurants, stores, and beaches with parking for 2-3 cars which made for easy trips to Chania and around the island. Highly recommend.

Traveled off season to this lovely house just outside a wonderful, walkable town. Our GPS sent us to the wrong location but Karolos was responsive and helped us find the house. We loved the deck overlooking the beach and sea. There was some pre-season maintenance happening that blocked our access via the house path to the beach but we found another way to access it. We also had a very friendly cat who visited us daily for attention. We loved Aigos Nikolas and would return again!

We LOVED this place!! The villa, the location, and the hosts Eleni and Georgios are all fantastic. The house is stunningly designed inside and out, for both functionality and luxury. The kitchen is supremely well-equipped, beds comfortable, bathrooms and living spaces airy and stylish. We appreciated the multiple terraces, beautiful swimming pool and sauna with a view! The location is perfect without a car: easily walkable to bars, restaurants and supermarkets in Plakias, but situated at the best, quietest, wildest end of the bay, with sandy beach, clear water, a couple of cool beach bars for sundowners and a beautiful walk on the headland. If you do have a car, there are amazing beaches nearby (Skinaria is gorgeous), and walking (and cold swimming) in the Kourtaliotiko Gorge. Eleni and Georgios are amazing hosts: communicative, friendly, thoughtful, offering local recommendations and dealing with any questions or issues efficiently - thank you! 🤩

Along with others who have stayed and reviewed, we had a lovely time staying in this gorgeous home. It clings to the mountain overlooking the bay/city of Chania giving you breathtaking views- we spent many mornings on the patio soaking it all in. The house was spotless and modern with all comforts for our family of six. Tovia was extremely helpful and welcoming - greeting us upon arrival and sharing the local pastries. She even surprised my daughter with a cake for her 18 bday! The house is about 20 min from Chania…with a rental car we spent everyday visiting the major sites on the island (much bigger than we initially thought). We visited at the start of winter season (many restaurants were closed) but there were very little tourists which we appreciated. Because it was starting to get cold, I wouldn’t splurge on heating the pool again. But, they do have an amazing sauna that may be worth the extra $ for kilowatt if you need to warm up. Highly recommend !
