Vacation rentals with a home theater in Crete

There were two of us staying at the property for 12 nights. We enjoyed it very much. One bedroom with bathroom in the basement and one upstairs. Living room and kitchen on the first floor. A great layout. The private parking lot by the house is very convenient. Excursions by car are easily possible due to the good connection to the expressway. We walked about 15 minutes to the city center or took the bus. 150 meters from the property is a well-stocked grocery store. Antonio provided us with coffee, water, cookies, milk, eggs, bread, cheese and ham as a welcome greeting. We were well taken care of at the start. Plumbing and household items were sufficiently available. Communication with Antonio was very straightforward. He responded promptly to questions and actively asked. We felt very comfortable.

Fantastisch host at a wonderful place with magnificent view. Great place to hang out and enjoy the pool. Kalives itself has some amenities and local shops willen, supermarket, and local beaches, however the main amenities and restaurants are in Chania which is a 20 mins drive.

Wow wow wow! What a week we had in this villa! The villa was even better than the pictures and we absolutely loved our stay. They helped us with everything from booking rental cars, transfer and private chef and tips on what to do! The host was amazing and very helpful. We are a big family and we were 15 people staying the villa and it was no problem at all! Thank you for a wonderful stay- we hope to be back again in the future :) it had everything and more of what we wanted!

Fantastic Airbnb! Very clean, a great amount of space for 1-2 people and a really solid location for Chania. You're a stone's throw from the sea wall which is nice for walks and plenty of restaurants. And then you're about only 10-15 walk to old town. I recommend renting a car if you plan to visit more than Chania as there are no ride hailing apps available in Crete. Vasileios's mom was very welcoming, left me some delicious muffins and was always quick to respond. I would stay here again!

Could not recommend this place enough. Me and my 4 mates went to this villa. (5 lads, all 21 years old) it was amazing, Magdalena met us at the villa when we landed to talk us through all that we needed and show us around. It was huge, 5 bedrooms and plenty of things to do inside the house, multiple TVs, big kitchen with all the things you’d need, blenders, coffee machine, cutlery etc. The views from the villa were incredible as we were on top of a hill. The pool was the perfect temperature in the day and even at night it was never really cold like most pools. The gym is small but you can manage well if you know what you are doing. It has a good pool table, table tennis, loads of card games and a PS4. Whenever we needed any help Magdalena would always respond in minutes. The price is great for what you get it is the best I have found. It is only 15-20 minutes drive from the city of Heraklion where there is plenty to do such as food and drink. I’d also recommend renting a car.

Our host could not have been more helpful, from allowing us to drop our bags off early to recommending loads of great places to see. He even dropped off some cakes for our daughter on her birthday!! The apartment is absolutely fantastic. It’s in a great location within walking distance to all the old town and very nicely decorated, not to mention the amazing retro & modern gaming, music systems & even a cinema/projector upstairs. I only have one fault about the apartment - my children never wanted to leave!!

We really enjoyed our stay here, beautiful views of the ocean and a Hammam sauna that you can’t beat. The yard and pool are lovely and the home has a beautiful modern vibe to help you get settled right in. We really enjoyed our stay and I would definitely recommend!
