We had a wonderful time at this stunning villa! The view of the sea is absolutely breathtaking, and the large pool was a true highlight. We especially loved the amazing outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven – perfect for relaxing evenings and cooking outdoor with Kids. Dimitra and her family were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the very beginning. There are several tavernas with great food within walking distance. We felt completely at ease and would love to come back!

Beautiful spacious villa set set in the hills above Sitia. Cool, comfortable, stylish and well equipped inside , fabulous large outdoor area with terraces, eating area, shady green garden area and pool with loungers. We enjoyed a great week under cloudless skies chillling at the villa and visting Sitia (good selection of waterfront restaurants ) and surrounds. The best beaches are half hour or more drive away but well worth the trip. The local village Piskokefalo (a short drive away) has a great taverna with simple, good value local dishes. Mania our host was very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The welcome pack with home made Moussaka and the surprise little departure gift were lovely touches. Thank you . Highly recommended. PS The Richtis gorge walk is a great outing but wouldn't recommend driving down to Richtis beach - very scary !

This was our 4th stay at Giannis' place and as always it was perfect. The property is exactly as pictured and described, so comfortable, with amazing outdoor space and everything you need (great WiFi, smart TV, great shower, plenty of towels and bed linen, etc). The outdoor space is the major selling point, with lots of different relaxing areas, plenty of shade, and a fabulous pool. And stunning views to boot! Agios Myron is a lovely little town: if you go please make sure to visit the local bar, restaurant, bakery and shop, all run by lovely people. Looking forward to returning again next year!

What a find! Spectacular views from every angle and so peaceful amongst the olive groves. Perfect place to unwind after a busy day of site-seeing. Manos was wonderful host and recommend the most lovely local restaurant. His home made olive oil was delicious too.

Very nice modern house (less than five years old?) overlooking the sea. Everything in very good working order, including powerful air conditioning in the bedrooms. Frequent cleaning of the pool area was a benefit, particularly when a storm had come in the night before. Very convenient to Rethymno as well as to several bakeries and restaurants towards the centre of the island.

We had a wonderful time at Antonios' place! The property was perfectly & accurately described & after we booked it, Antonios sent us lots of additional helpful details, tips & great suggestions. We were just 2 people, so the property felt quite roomy, which was nice. I would say that a car is needed - not so much for the daily tasks as going to the beach or grabbing food, but for the freedom, convenience & affordability when exploring the surrounding. We covered almost the whole eastern part of the island in 20 days & Antonios' villa served as a perfect base. The closest bakery is excellent. The walk to Gra Ligia beach took me 20 min - possible, doable, nice to have in a way, but carefully with the traffic on the road. The Gra Ligia beach is quite nice actually - fine sand inside and not too deep. We were driving to other beaches, but there is a close, nice option too. Overall, the stay at Antonios' place was wonderful- great deal, super service! Will do it again without doubt!

Kostas Apartment ist traumhaft. Man kann wunderbar abschalten und die Natur genießen. Die Outdoor Küche und der Pool sind das absolute Highlight. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Alba Lilia was a great place to stay. The villa was spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The outdoor space was particularly great with a large dining table and lots of chairs, and numerous sunbeds by the pool. The host was also able to provide a high chair and travel cot for our baby which was great. We also had a visit from a cleaner and a pool man to keep everything clean during the stay, which was appreciated. For anyone driving to the villa: Google Maps sometimes tries to direct you via a very rough road to the villa if you’re coming from Chania. It’s better to drive through/around the town of Kamilari which will put you on a proper paved road to the villa.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Louloudia- Jacq and Pilo were perfect hosts who made sure we very happy, comfortable and well informed. The villa is lovely, super clean, very well equipped and decorated beautifully. Everything you could possibly need is there! Jacq and Pilo live next door but are very discreet, also on hand should you need them. I would thoroughly recommend Villa Louloudia, thank you both 🙏🏼

nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans le logement de Katerina. il est situé dans un hameau paisible, au calme, à proximité du village de Voulgaro (sur la route d'elafonissi et kissamos). très bien équipé et spacieux, on profite également du jardin privé et des oliviers (pour l'ombre ) et orangers (pour les fruits). l'accueil est agréable et sympathique, la mère de Katerina a été très disponible et de bon conseils. A 5mn de voiture (ou 15 à pieds), on a accès à 3 bons restaurants dans le bourg de Voulgaro.

The villa is clean, well stocked, and spacious. Simos was incredibly responsive and great to communicate with. The area is lovely, with a few excellent restaurants in walking distance, wineries and olive farms really close, and Knossos Palace also a short drive away. It’s a great place to unwind and the proximity to the Heraklion airport is also a bonus if you’re flying off the island.

I truly recommend staying with Niko in this beautiful villa! The house is very modern, the outside area spectacular and private and the communication with Niko was clear and helpful. The accommodation works for both families and friends. The house is located around 30mins from Chania which is easy to get to by car. Can only recommend renting this villa.

This place was beautiful! There were many tavernas around within walking distance to grab a drink and bite to eat. The host was very receptive of texts and was there if we needed anything at all. Swimming in the pool and watching the sunset behind the mountains made this place feel like something out of a movie. Thank you so much for a great experience!

Oasis in nature, gorgeous villa with a pool overlooking the sea and hills. We absolutely loved our stay! The house is beautifully decorated, well equiped, there is everything you might need and really comfy bed :-) We loved the pool that has an amazing view. We enjoyed different seating options - 2 terrases, armchairs by the pool, or in shade under the tree.. Nikos and Maria are absolutely adorable! They made sure we had everything we needed. They even bought toys for our kids to play with and prepare new toys for the pool. You feel completely in the nature, in the hills, but you are still 2min from the main road to go places. We will definitely come back!!! :-)

Our stay in Agios Ioannis at Luisa’s traditional Cretan cottage was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! How to sum it up in one review… To start, Luisa was so friendly and helpful when it came to giving us directions to get to the remote village, a flexible check-in time, and TONS of local recommendations. The house itself was spectacular. The patio views of the mountains and sea were absolutely breathtaking and the garden was a private and lovely spot to spend our mornings in. Truly a sacred place, we felt very at home and loved the traditional charm and being so close to nature. We were still within a 15 minute drive to lots of great beaches, restaurants, markets, and hikes, despite being so high up in the mountains. Luisa provided us with everything we needed to have a very special getaway, even inviting us over for dinner in our last night. Cannot thank her enough. If you are looking for the perfect place to experience Crete, this is it! We cannot wait to return!

Konstantinos’s place is perfect. The location is beautiful and only a short drive to some of best beaches we have ever been to. The pool is so lovely and surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. I have never had a shower with such a good view! I wouldn’t change a thing and would recommend to anyone.

Une vue imprenable dans un lieu très bien équipé et confortable, il ne manque rien. Un environnement entouré de montagnes et un beau jardin qu’on peut utiliser. Il y a plusieurs activités intéressantes dans la région en plus de la ville d’Heraklion qui se situe à 20 minutes seulement en auto. Les propriétaires habitent en haut mais ils sont à la fois très accueillants et très discrets. Un grand merci spécial à Katy pour sa gentillesse mais aussi pour toutes ses attentions. À notre arrivée, nous avons reçu des petits plats, etc… et avons eu l’occasion de goûter la soupe traditionnelle préparée par notre hôte à l’occasion de la fête de Pâques. Encore un grand merci à Giorgos et Maria pour leur accueil. Une très grosse tempête de sable du Sahara a tout perturbé le jour de notre arrivée. Nos hôtes ont fait le maximum et même l’impossible pour tout nettoyer et nous permettre de profiter de la villa dans les meilleures conditions. La villa est magnifique. Tout est prévu pour que nous puissions nous détendre et profiter au maximum. Pleins de belles intentions, des produits à disposition permettent de ressentir le confort dès notre arrivée. Je ne peux que conseiller la villa Mythic Olive 😊

Amazing Amazing. Its hard to sum up the experience of Carpos Villa. Beautiful, relaxing villa. Incredible amenities, great location. Owners were responsive and proactive whenever we needed them with advice and support. We were there with our two young boys (3 and 1) and it was a fabulous location. Small play area in the garden, beautiful splash pool. Great beach and restaurants 25 mins away, really good supermarkets 15 mins away. (Note: You need a car). We couldn't recommend it enough, it was a very very special week for our family. Exactly as beautiful and spacious as the photos suggest. Only watch-out - the wifi is not quick. I needed to do some video calls whilst there and it was too slow to be reliable, however the mobile service was decent and fast so if you need to do video calls from the house make sure you have enough mobile data.

Wir waren 3 Tage bei Gina und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt . Abends konnten wir lecker bei ihr Essen. Alles ist sehr familiär. Sohn und Mann arbeiten mit. Zum Schluss haben wir leckeres Bio Olivenöl gekauft aus eigener Herstellung. Wer Ruhe sucht, ist bei Gina genau richtig. Gastgeberin mit ganz großem Herz.

The place was great and exactly as the photos suggest. Lots of steep and tiled stairs so a bit challenging with a 18 month old but for 3-4 year olds it was great. We came in May and the heated pool meant they could play in the pool all day. The place is lovely and clean, the outdoor bbq area is super and there are two taverns within walking distance as well as a corner shop. Anyone staying here will have a great holiday!

We had a great week of family at the Promachon Villa. The villa is very big and specious, highky maintained very well eqipped. Stella and her husband were really great hosts. They responded very fast to any request we had. The swimming pool is rather big and lovely. The house is located on an isolayed and quiet area 10-12 minutes drive from the city center. On behalf of all 13 members of the Zakay family I would like to thank you Stella for giving us such an incredible family vacation. We would really love to come back again. Ef christo Stella!🙂
