Absolutely amazing stay! The place was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The host was super friendly and responsive, making check-in and communication a breeze. The location was perfect—close to everything we needed but still peaceful and quiet. Every detail was thought out, from the cozy bedding to the little touches that made it feel like home. Would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

This Airnb was spacious and clean with all the comforts of home. Our host was promt with entry information and departure task reminders. We were minutes from town for groceries and dining out. We enjoyed a relaxing beautiful sunny day kayaking on the river. Definitely would love to stay again.

Great location for kayakers! Pool table, Corn hole set, and fire pit on site provided plenty of other options for recreation. Beds were comfortable. Great area! Lovell Riverside Bar is a great place at the other end of Lovell street.

We really enjoyed staying at Fawn’s place!! This was a top tier place! She thought of everything and provided so many extras like snacks, an assortment of drinks and even chocolates on the pillows. The decor was very well done and it was so clean and comfortable. It was a great spot to stay as we explored some of north Michigan. We slept well and the surroundings were very peaceful and quiet. We would stay here again without any hesitation. Fawn was quick to answer questions and help in any way. We enjoyed staying here very much!!

house was very clean and a close walk to downtown Gaylord. Beds were very comfortable. I would suggest this place to anyone wanting a house close to downtown. would definitely stay there again.

Great place for the family to land in for the night after long days of touring surrounding cities. The Kalkaska trout sculpture and museum was a great treat too!!

Very comfortable & peaceful stay!

Scott was extremely kind and courteous, and was always responsive. He also gave us great local info and helped us when needed. Parking was very easy and there were no additional fees at any point. If you want to ski or snowboard, Thursday is the best day as the lift ticket is only $15. The room was comfortable and very easy to keep warm during our late-Winter trip where it snowed almost every day and temperatures rarely went above 20°F. The room had a fantastic view of the tubing and ski slope of the Ostego Resort, and it was an extremely short and easy to walk to the lodge or the shop to get lift tickets. We stayed here to attend a rally going on in Atlanta MI. It turned out to be a perfect location bc no matter what you needed from food to shopping was literally just minutes away. Accessing Atlanta, or the Canadian border, Petoskey and Traverse City were all very easy day trips to make. I was also pleasantly surprised how courteous everyone drove. It was better than expected. The place was clean, amenities were thoughtful. Everything we needed was there. The host definitely had the guests best interest in mind. . Very pleased. 5 star host for sure.

There’s something magical about Shanty Creek. It’s our little escape each year, and this visit was just what we needed. Mornings with coffee, evenings with sunsets—those peaceful balcony views never get old. The space is cozy, calm, and always feels like a gentle pause from the world. It gave us room to breathe, rest, and just be. Cheryl was a fantastic host who communicated with perfect detail and the space was our perfect getaway. We are already dreaming of next year’s visit!

Everything was great, everything was clean, well organized and accurate according to descriptions. The hosts were good to communicate with and made sure we were comfortable and made sure we know they were available for any questions. They also checked in the morning after check- in to make sure everything was going well. Would recommend to anyone looking to travel to the area!
