The home was everything we need for our small gathering.

Hidden Gem close to Lake, Roscommon and Forest Dunes Golf Course. Looks bigger in person than the pictures. Great back porch for enjoying northern michigan evenings.

Great property and friendly community! We utilized the grill and lots of outdoor yard games. The host was responsive and helpful the entire stay!

Spent an extremely peaceful week fly fishing during the day and relaxing at the house in the evening. The house and hosts provided everything one needs to enjoy their time away. The setting was amazingly quiet.

Convenient launching pad for winter adventures. Under 10 minute drive to Treetops which was perfect for our weekend ski trip.

We had a great time at the chalet on our trip to cross-country ski in the area. Great location and quiet. Appreciated the treats (hot cocoa and s’mores). Kids loved the upstairs. Super comfy beds and nice open layout. Snowed quite a bit before and during our stay- excellent ski conditions and we enjoyed exploring the many xc ski areas within 7-25 min drive (XC Ski Headquarters, Forbush Corner, Hanson Hills, Hartwick Pines). Best lunch was at The Stone Turtle Cafe at XC Ski Headquarters.

We really enjoyed staying at Fawn’s place!! This was a top tier place! She thought of everything and provided so many extras like snacks, an assortment of drinks and even chocolates on the pillows. The decor was very well done and it was so clean and comfortable. It was a great spot to stay as we explored some of north Michigan. We slept well and the surroundings were very peaceful and quiet. We would stay here again without any hesitation. Fawn was quick to answer questions and help in any way. We enjoyed staying here very much!!

Very cozy and great location right next to Shanty Creek Resort Hotel and very easy to get downtown Bellaire. You can either catch a ride to Schuss on the free bus transportation from the resort or take a quick drive. Overall great place for a romantic get a way!

We had a great stay and would absolutely book again. The host was super accommodating, especially with our check-in time so we could make it to a friend’s wedding without stress. The space was perfect for a group—three separate rooms gave everyone privacy while still having common areas to hang out. Clean, comfortable, and well set up for a weekend with friends. Highly recommend!

We’ve stayed in the Legend Cottages before and same great experience as always. Room was exactly what we needed for a golf trip.

Very nice rental, exactly as pictured. Location was perfect for skiing, tubing, indoor pool access, resort restaurants. Everything within minutes to Schuss Mountain, Shanty Creek or Bellaire (Short’s brewery). Very cozy space. Fireplace was great, comfortable seating/bed, coffee pods. Would definitely come back.

We had a little hiccup at the very beginning, however, Vicky was extremely responsive and immediately fixed the issue. Beds were soft and comfy overall a wonderful stay!

We had a fantastic experience staying here. The hosts were incredibly responsive, friendly, and always available to answer any questions we had. Communication was quick and seamless throughout our stay. The place felt very homey from the moment we arrived—spotlessly clean, thoughtfully maintained, and equipped with a variety of amenities and activity options to suit different interests. The location is also ideal: close to downtown and the resort, making everything easily accessible. We highly recommend staying here and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Great stay, small and cozy for 2 people. Bathroom shower / getting out is kind of tight but doable. A larger person might have more of an issue but over all would recommend. Pretty central in a small town

Cherie was very kind and a great host! The Guest House was very clean and comfortable! There is a sign at the end of the driveway that makes finding it so easy! 10/10 all the way around! Thank you Cherie for being a great host and having a wonderful beautiful rental!

This was an outstanding cottage for a winter getaway for our family! It was a great location close to multiple ski resorts and downtown Gaylord. We enjoyed getting to ski, tube, horseback ride, and play in the snow outside of the cottage. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and everything was clean and cozy! It was perfect for what we were looking for. Dawn was an excellent communicator and didn’t hesitate to give us recommendations in the area and check in to make sure all is well. When we got snow overnight, there was even someone to shuffle and plow immediately in the morning. We would absolutely come back!

“THIS IS A COOL HOUSE”, we heard over and over again from our 3yo. There isn’t a detail missed between the shower essentials/readily available toiletries to the local recommendations to the books/indoor and outdoor games/kitchen necessities/water toys and wagon for the beach, grill, etc. The lot location is so peaceful and perfect for some R&R especially sitting out at the campfire, under the covered porch (ESPECIALLY while it’s raining) and even on the rockers on the front porch. PURE RELAXATION! The walk to the beach is enjoyable and a beautiful place to enjoy a sunset. Natalie was very responsive and proactive. The perfect kind of host actually! You are truly treated to a gem of a getaway with this place.

I enjoyed my stay. The property is beautiful and if you’re looking to get away and you’re in the area this is the place. No complaints!

I have a wonderful time here celebrating my 30th birthday. Even tho the weather was raining I still had such an amazing time, it was so peaceful and relaxing! It literally felt like I was home

This cozy, quiet, very clean and homey space has become our favorite rental home of all we have rented. The personal touches really made us feel we were staying at a family or friend’s home. It had paper ware, seasonings, clean pots pans, coffee, zip lock bags, candles throughout the home. The bedding, pillows and towels were top notch. Not to mention the wonderful hot tub, kayaks, dock space, grill and fire pit. I will make mention the 2 bedroom are upstairs. 2 full bathrooms but bathroom upstairs next to bed rooms is a bathtub only. Mark was so pleasant and attentive to answer any of our questions and we look forward to a return trip.

**Review of Our Stay at Teresa's AirB&B** If I could rate this place a 10, I absolutely would! From the moment we booked Teresa's AirB&B, my expectations were exceeded. I anticipated a simple house, but what we found was a fully stocked home that made us feel truly welcomed—perhaps I even overpacked! The cleanliness of the property was impressive; it looked exactly as depicted in the photos. We enjoyed a variety of activities, including kayaking and cozy bonfires in the backyard, which added to our memorable experience. The attention to detail was remarkable, and the proximity to the lake, just a few minutes away, made our stay even more enjoyable. We even drove up to Leland Mi “fish town” Overall, My 35th birthday was awesome! we had an amazing time and are already planning our return. Thank you, Teresa, for providing such a wonderful getaway! 😊
