Great hosts and great accommodation, felt right at home as soon as I stepped inside. Bed is very comfortable and the hut is well equipped with everything you need. Great broadband connection as well which helped with having to do work. Super homely, well equipped, very comfortable- what more could you want - if you love horses as well, look no further.

Modern Converted Barn w/ Idyllic Views of N. Yorks

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful barn before a family wedding. Wendy was kind enough to allow the bride and her entourage to get ready in the spacious living area, offering up her garden for photographs. Nothing was too much trouble and a few issues were dealt with swiftly. Highly recommended for a peaceful, countryside stay in glorious surroundings.

Bridge Cottage

We loved staying in this cosy terraced cottage a few steps from the shops and superb restaurants on Yarm high street, and from the glorious Tees river walk. It was a very convenient place from which to visit my Dad and explore the area. This is a comfortable home in an historic building with small rooms and characterful features including slightly uneven floorboards and steep stairs, which were a breeze for me, my husband, 12 and 14 year olds, but might be less convenient for someone with mobility issues. The house has been beautifully decorated to maximise the space and light. Everything worked and it was spotlessly clean with a lovely functional little kitchen and great bathroom with plenty of hot water and space. We parked outside at night / on the Sunday, and found one of the suggested car parks just a minutes' walk down the road for the other daytimes. Overall it was a lovely stay and we hope to return next time we visit my Dad because it is such a great property.

Crumbleclive Cabin

KatRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
After a hectic weekend, a couple of days at Aidan's place was peaceful and relaxing. A truly rural retreat, this is very much the cabin in the woods that the photos show. Aidan met us and showed us the ropes, and got the woodfired hot-tub on the deck going for us (which was amazing!). Surrounded by trees, and with the sound of the river below, this is the ultimate in peaceful relaxation. If booking, make sure you come prepared by bringing towels and fuss-free food. There's no fridge and kitchen per se, but there's an icebox and ice can be provided. Cooking is possible on the wood burner inside, and there's a kettle and toaster. A wonderful experience and we'd love to come back and explore the surroundings more!

What a fabulous place to return to after a day walking in the hills. Warm, clean, comfortable and close to eating places and not to mention delicious Fish and Chips just round the corner. John is very welcoming and helpful. Would return, for sure, if in this area again. Thank you very much.

Cosy cottage off Yarm Highstreet

BethanRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a great stay in this lovely cottage. It is right in the heart of Yarm so super convenient for shops and restaurants, yet it was surprisingly quiet inside at night. It is also very close to the Tees for an evening river stroll. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen stocked with a useful supply of basics, the bathroom and in fact the whole house were scrupulously clean. Kate was very easy to communicate with and gave us very clear instructions on how to get in, where to park etc. We’d love to return.
