The cottage is situated in tranquil countryside and gives you an immediate homely feeling as you walk through the door. The location offers you easy cycling access to Chinon and Saumur as well as beautiful countryside and rustic villages. We would love to go back.

Peaceful and secluded cottage in beautiful countryside near the Vienne river, gorgeous walks from the property and loads to do and visit a short drive away - kayak, chateaux, bikes, markets etc. We particularly liked the Guinguette on the beach opposite Chinon. The house itself is spacious and beautifully decorated and we enjoyed the company of the cat and sheep, the fruit and veg growing in the garden and the calls of owls at night.

We had a great time at this cottage. Everything was as described. The decor is superb and the amenities are numerous. Everything was perfect from our arrival to our departure. Access is easy and parking is easy in front of the house. The terrace is lovely .

Fanny is a welcoming, smiling and dedicated hostess. Everything is in place to spend a quiet and pleasant stay at her home. Very nice garden. Perfect location to visit Fontevraud and the surrounding area.
