Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Coux-et-Bigaroque-Mouzens

D' emblée pour nous, ça a été cette belle rencontre, avec Jean-claude, proprio de cette ravissante maison que nous avons occupé durant six jours, papi adorable, chaleureux, discret, avec qui nous avons pu échanger de très bons moments. Une agréable bâtisse dans un écrin de verdure nous attendait, nous avons apprécier cette ambiance reposante, qui vous offre une parenthèse enchantée . Cette jolie maison a tout ce qu' il faut pour vous accueillir dans de bonnes conditions, les nuits sont calmes, seule une chouette a bien voulu pour notre plus grand plaisir, s' y inviter un soir ! De beaux sites à visiter à des distances plus que raisonnables Et surtout, nous tenons à réserver quelques lignes à Joniss, Higgins, et Isid, les trois adorables quatt' pattes de Jean-claude, que nous avons "volontairement" attirés par des friandises, ce sont des boules de gentillesse, voilà, c' est dit, eux aussi ont contribués à notre bonheur ! M. Jean-claude est aussi apiculteur !!!! +++Nous recommandons !

Nous avons séjourné dans ce logement quelques jours, c'est un véritable havre de paix ! Nous avons pu découvrir la Dordogne grâce aux recommandations de nos hôtes. Nous reviendrons !!

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

Nathalie and Tim were such extraordinary hosts! My family and I had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home! The house itself is perfect for cooking, relaxing, and spending time together. We were able to enjoy the wonderful gardens and the pool all day and watch the sunset from our patio each evening. Such a stunning and relaxing atmosphere. The best part was how well taken care of we felt all week. Nathalie helped organize a tour of local vineyards, scheduled a wine tasting by the pool, and cooked dinner for us all on 2 evenings. She also had great local restaurant and market recommendations! We also loved our morning chocolatines and croissants! They were extremely kind and accommodating throughout the trip - delivering bottles of wine when we ran short, lending us a pot so that we could cook a big stew one night, and even working a miracle helping me removing a grenadine stain from a white dress I bought at a local market. I can’t recommend this wonderful home enough!

Une très belle maison decoree avec beaucoup de goût, dans un superbe cadre. Nous avons pu apprécier le confort de la maison lors de quelques journées pluvieuses mais également du magnifique jardin et de la terrasse par temps ensoleillé. De nombreuses visites sont accessibles à proximité. Les hôtes sont acceuilants et réactifs.

Such an idyllic stay! The gîte is perfectly located amidst peaceful surroundings, you really feel like you’re in the middle of the French countryside. The garden is enormous, and was a lovely area for our little girl to run around. The pool area is very clean and looks new, located within the grounds , it’s a little walk from the gite but this is great for feeling of privacy. The gite itself is well equipped, clean, spacious and remains cool even when it’s very warm outside. A home away from home. It’s very easy to park outside the front. The local village is very picturesque with restaurants, boulangerie, mini supermarket. It’s a quick drive down, but was too far for us to walk, especially in the heat. Sarah was a fantastic host, was very easy to contact and responsive. Such a wonderful introduction to the Dordogne region for my family and I100% would recommend. Merci beaucoup pour tout, Sarah. très agréable séjour dans ce logement charmant, dans une nature magnifique et calme tout est prévu, cuisine bien équipée pour cuisiner à proximité de nombreux beaux villages périgourdins ainsi que de nombreux sites à visiter une hôtesse accueillante disponible et chaleureuse nous recommandons fortement ce lieu

Maison très charmante. Cadre reposant et calme. Nous sommes bien placé pour visiter les alentours. Nous avons apprécié toutes les recommandations faites par Sabine et Mélanie. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir passer un séjour en Dordogne dans cette jolie maison.

Un logement parfait situé dans la vieille ville pour faire de belles balades avec un glacier à deux pas que nous avons apprécié. Adrien est très attentionné et disponible pour ses voyageurs Encore merci pour le petit cadeau pour nous même mais aussi pour notre chat. Le logement est très calme et paisible. Tout équipé pour passer un séjour parfait nous avons également profité du jardin. Nous recommandons le logement les yeux fermés et nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the apartment and its terraced garden. The view from the terrace is a pleasant one overlooking rooftops and towards a hill. It was nice to meet Ralf on arrival who showed us around, explained how the apartment worked and had time to have a chat - so much nicer than arriving to a lockbox. This is a new listing so I think almost everything is brand new - which was a plus. The beds were firm and to our liking. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cooking utensils - which is great as I like to cook. There is a nice dining table and chairs on the terrace as well as other outdoor furniture. The apartment is really close to the historic centre of Sarlat - probably a five minute walk. Also close by is a bakery and it is only a few minutes walk to the supermarket if you don’t want to drive to the bigger supermarkets on the outskirts of the town. The property has a locked gated entry with parking just to the side of the apartment.

Super séjour chez Isa et Ridwan. Très bonne communication. Appartement impeccable, très bien entretenu et décoré avec goût. Ce fut un plaisir d’y séjourner. Je recommande !

l'appartement est magnifique, le bâtiment de style médiéval m'a enchanté, proche de tout, de merveilleux restaurants aux alentours, la cathédrale en face est tout simplement magnifique. Je le recommande vraiment et je reviendrai un jour

We just spent a few days at this amazing apartment in La Roque-Gageac. The place is in a building several hundreds of years old, renovated with lots of taste, beautiful and modern bathrooms, a lovely courtyard with tables and chairs to relax in, comfortable beds. Adrien and Marion are a wonderful couple that welcomed us warmly. Our children loved their gentle dog, Indi - we loved the restaurant next door. The perfect place for a glass of wine and a taste of their remarkable food! Right in the center of la Roque-Gageac, loads of things to do such as hikes, castle visits, going to markets, cooking class, biking and canoeing (what we couldn’t do due to poor weather conditions). I highly recommend staying here! All the best to Adrien and Marion!

Our stay in Eric’s house was perfect. Stepping out into the heart of the old town was a wonderful experience every time. The location could not be more central to restaurants shops and bars. We will certainly stay again.

Maisonnette pleine de charme idéal pour y passer quelques au calme, près de nombreuses activités, restaurant, commerces et chemin de randonné ! Je recommande !!

We loved our stay so much and look forward to returning. The house and extensive grounds are quite beautiful and very peaceful. Perfect in every way. Diana and her husband were perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome.

Logement très propre très fonctionnel et qui correspond totalement à la description donnée. logement confortable décoré avec sobriété et goût. Terrasse très agréable étant donné l'excellente météo dont nous avons profité. bien équipé en ustensile de cuisine. ;Cave à disposition très pratique pour nous qui avions des VTT.

Logement demandé en dernière minute et Stephanie et Cedric ont été très arrangeants et réactifs. Échanges sympathiques et les indications pour trouver le logement étaient très bonnes. Le logement est bien situé vis à vis de tout ce qu’il y a faire aux alentours.

Un vrai havre de paix ! Le grand jardin, la piscine et le spa offrent un cadre idéal pour se détendre. Le logement est confortable, très propre et conforme à l’annonce. L’hôte est attentionné et disponible. Un séjour ressourçant que je recommande sans hésiter !

Serge’s place is amazing. We spent a lovely 10 days there in May and it was exactly what we were looking for. It’s walking distance into the village which has everything you need, and the place itself is clean, well appointed and in a beautiful setting with its own lake. Serge was so responsive and kind to us during the stay too - he went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!

Beautiful house, with an absolutely therific garden and a proper pool. The value is extremely good for the price!

We stayed here in June 2025. The villa was absolutely fantastic. The location is ideal for a short drive to local towns like Sarlat, but is nestled away over looking the dordogne river! Didier was extremely helpful and proactive with communication. I could not have chosen a better place to stay.
