The comments about the steep staircase are true, and it's worse than it looks!! After 4 days, we returned with more physical energy after so much climbing and descending, so it was worth it. Having coffee at this balcony table is priceless! Every penny in this accommodation is very well invested. We were always surrounded by dogs and kittens, each one cuter than the last! And last but not least, the host José was always available to answer questions, talk and give local recommendations! He's really a high-spirited figure who carries a lot of good humor ;) I recommend all guests to talk to José to learn about the history of the houses and especially about their architecture!

Dario, thank you very much for your attention and for dedicating yourself to preserving this place. I believe you are an enlightened person for sharing this extraordinary and unique place with us. We're counting on you to keep it that way!!! The island is a paradise and the accommodations are great. Everything is of excellent quality: from household utensils, to decoration, bedding, in short, everything! And not to mention the team, which is wonderful and very dedicated! Michael's house is lovely! Typical caiçara, but with very comfortable sophisticated details. We spent 5 incredible days as a family. The house is more beautiful in person: bright, airy and we loved the kitchen and the living room with high ceilings, clean decor and wonderful sea views. The sunset and the moon yielded beautiful memories. The suite is very cozy, with a high bed and indirect lighting. Everything impeccable. A haven of peace and comfort. The house is close to the parking lot, the climb is quiet and the handrail helps. Inside, everything is new and works well (the dishwasher made life easier). Michael was a great host. Cordial, kind, caring, who cares about his guests. We saw this in the welcoming messages, in the care of the house and in the details of the very tasteful decoration. We love mattresses, bed linens, towels, futons, curtains and linen cushions, as well as local art. We were surprised by the medicine and hygiene kit. What care! Only praise for the experience! We'll be back soon!

It was all very incredible! The reception of Suellen and her husband Osias is surreal! All the support for EVERYTHING! It makes all the difference in the experience! apart from the place, the view, the sunset, the sunrise! there's nothing to complain about! and the noise they said in the comments, it didn't bother me at all! it was perfect and I'll be back more often
