Close to the Pieterpad, the Hanze cities of Deventer and Zutphen. Between fields and in a beautiful backdrop landscape, where hikers and cyclists can fully enjoy. The inner cities of Enschede, Hengelo, Oldenzaal and Borne are within cycling distance of the house. The lovely villages of Delden, Goor, Boekelo are also in the vicinity. Nice place on the edge of the Sallandse Heuvelrug in the cozy village of Hellendoorn! In the back of the garden is our guest house with private garden, living room, pantry kitchen, bathroom/toilet, bedroom with 2-p bed and sleeping loft with 2 single beds above the kitchen. The center is at walking distance. But we also live wonderfully freely, right on the forest and the Pieterpad. April 2025 completely renovated! Unfortunately, we cannot allow permanent residence.

In short, enjoy this beautiful area. Not suitable for those with disabilities. Without breakfast.

Our lovely house is an old renovated farm, with all the comfort of today. The holidayhome de Drentse Hooglander has its own entrance, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a cosy living room with tv( netflix), a private garden and terrace. A detached stone cottage with a private garden and views of Achterhoek's scenic landscape. Because of the many windows, the living room is very bright and spacious. There is also a wood-burning stove allowing you to warm up by the stove and of course in the sauna on cold evenings. Our horses run in the meadow in front of the garden, and our chickens also run loose in the garden.
