To the first floor there is a feature stone wall leading to the bathroom and bedrooms. Sleeps up to five persons in two bedrooms (one king sized bed and one triple bunk bed).

Wetheral Railway Station is a short walk from the cottage with regular trains to Carlisle and Newcastle. Easy access to Gretna Green, the Lake District, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Formally a farming community the Byre is situated in a courtyard of cottages and barn conversions. It is a lovely quiet area surrounded by fields there are walks direct from the door.
