We really enjoyed it. The private pool is an excellent positive. Maria and Nuno were very nice and welcoming. It was a very good experience and we hope to go back! :)

We had a lovely stay at Joaquim’s place. It is a large studio space (possibly a former dance studio?), with a well equipped kitchen. We loved the swimming pool and it was so welcome in the heat. Joaquim was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay and also provided good information on Moura. The supermarkets are conveniently close at hand, and everything in the town is walking distance. We tried a couple of restaurants - Vermulhudo and André’s - both really good with a lively atmosphere. We climbed to the top of the tower at the castle, had a boat trip at the Alqueva dam, visited the oil press museum and generally enjoyed Moura which is very pretty. Thank you for having us, we would love to come back.

The place was beautiful with amazing amenities. It was very relaxing and in a good location, not far from the main town. I would stay again.

Monte do Telheiro is a wonderful property in one of the most beautiful parts of Alentejo. It is surrounded by rolling green hills and overlooks the pleasant village of Escoural (less then a ten minute walk away). We enjoyed the house for a week over Christmas and made good use of the well-equipped kitchen, the big dining room table and the cozy living room with its huge, well-working fireplace. Though the weather was sunny for the whole week with warm sunshine at midday, it was very pleasant to have heating in the house for the cold evenings and nights (not a given in Portugal!). Lawrence is a great host, proactive, and providing very precise information. The caretakers living on the property (in a separate house) are a lovely couple, very discreet and reliable. They even brought us a delicious, home-made cake on Christmas Eve! There is a lot to explore. We visited Evora, Montemor, Estremoz, and Monsaraz Castle. We plan to be back for a summer visit to make use of the fantastic pool.

The house was very nice, tasteful and cozy, we all felt at home! The outdoor area with the pool and fireplace was also very welcoming. Andre was a good host, always available immediately and stated everything clearly. Thanks for a great stay

Diogo was a brilliant host. I had a beautiful week in Comporta. It was very quiet and the weather wasn’t great as they had bad storms but it was perfect for me as I was writing a book. The accommodation was immaculate and I was upgraded to a bigger room with no extra charge as it was quiet at the suggestion of Diogo. The beach is 9 mins drive and stunning with two lovely restaurants. I ate in both and I highly recommend them. I will definitely be coming back. X

Great house. The location is ideal for visiting the nearest beaches. An hour's drive to Sagres. Silence and peace in the house, you can enjoy relaxing by the pool, grilling seafood and drinking wine. Everything is there for that. Shop 5 min drive away. Communication with the hosts is quick and easy. Thanks for the great days!

Wonderful house, with all the amenities, namely the kitchen. The photographs exactly depict the dwelling. Very quiet place and a minute walk from the main street of the village, where you can find pharmacy, mini-market, stationery and several restaurants. Very close to wonderful beaches! Francisco was super friendly and attentive to our questions. We had an immense desire to return to this house and to be able to enjoy the pool (because of the rain we could not)! It was a fantastic weekend, with the creation of excellent memories!

Our stay at Rens’ place was absolutely wonderful. The house itself is beautiful—a peaceful countryside retreat, fully immersed in nature. It gave us exactly the kind of tranquility we were looking for. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was Rens himself. He is an exceptional person—kind, generous, and always there when you need him. We stayed for three days, and during that time he went above and beyond to help us. When we had a flat tire, he spent the whole day making sure we were okay and had everything we needed. His hospitality was incredible. Honestly, just meeting Rens is reason enough to visit. He made us feel so welcome—it felt like staying with a friend. Highly, highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay. The house is very cosy and comfortable, even when the weather isn’t great—it’s a place where you immediately feel at home. The layout is smart, and everything you might need is there. The garden is a real bonus, and the location is perfect: close to beautiful beaches and charming small towns. Communication with the hosts was smooth and welcoming, and we were even able to check in much earlier than expected. Would definitely like to come back.

I recommend this apartment to everyone that wants to have a genuine experience of the Alentejo countryside. It is easy to approach, the apartment was equipped with everything we needed, and the farm was simply beautiful and peaceful. Sabine and Dries are lovely hosts who made sure we had a great stay. I fell in love with Alentejo and I hope I can come back to their farm next time!

The accommodation has all the amenities to make you feel at home, we didn't miss anything. The Host was always responsive and friendly in his dealings. I recommend the villa to any guest looking for accommodation in Torrão or nearby. Thank you Vera!

It was a pleasure to stay there for two days. Very friendly service, the cabin is very cozy and everything was clean. 100% recommended

Our stay went well, the house was very cozy and was just like the photos. We were greeted with bread, a bottle of wine and olives that were very good. Quiet area ideal for resting, with an excellent patio for outdoor dining and not forgetting the Jacuzzi. Dona Maria was very kind, we were very well received. We had a very nice and peaceful stay at casa Atejo. It's a place to connect with nature, to deconnect with the ratrace. The house is renovated wonderful, the fireplace is a big plus. It makes the house even more comfy and pleasant. We had a good contact with Boris and his sister by message and by the website AirBnb. Thank you for the wonderful week we had!

The apartment is as described. Very handy to have free parking within walking distance and great restaurants and attractions within walking distance. We like visiting in the historic district. The apartment is very cozy but has everything you need. Maria was very responsive and is actually an owner instead of dealing with a property manager

This is one of the most unique and beautiful places I have stayed. The outdoor space includes a balcony, a patio, and a garden, all with spectacular views. The indoor space is a rambling stone house including dining room with a fireplace and arched ceiling and a bedroom with a cozy study down a half-flight of stairs. The kitchen has plenty of room and equipment for cooking meals, but there are also several very good restaurants close by. The host was wonderful about checking in to make sure things are OK. The only thing I would say is that we were there during an unusually cold spell and although the heater kept the bedroom cozy, the rest of the house was chilly. Not unexpected for an old stone house, and it didn’t bother us, we just built fires to take the chill off.
