House vacation rentals in Cortes de Cima

We were very pleased with Carlos' place and enjoyed the stay very much without restrictions. The atmosphere is very quiet and familiar, you are surrounded by nature, and the view of the old part of the town with its aqueduct is beautiful. And in a few minutes' walk you can reach the center with nice restaurants and everything you need. We are happy to recommend it and will also be happy to come back. But then longer than two days!

We had a gorgeous stay here with our toddler. The house had everything we needed for traveling with a child and was complete with toys, beach going needs like towels, umbrellas, and beach toys, as well as a crib and high chair. We borrowed their bikes and explored town and loved visiting the gelato place that’s around the corner. At night, we listened to the frogs in the rice paddies behind the house and loved watching the bird life during the day. Getting to the beach was quick and easy and we spent two days there. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We enjoyed staying at this house.The decor is beautiful—stylish but still super cozy—and you can tell a lot of thought was put into how the space is set up. The beds were comfy, which made it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. One of our favorite parts was the outdoor area. Having both a barbecue and a fire pit made it perfect for spending evenings outside, grilling food, chatting, and just enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The kitchen was also well stocked with all the utensils and tools we needed, which made cooking meals easy and enjoyable. The location couldn’t be better,just a short drive to some of the most beautiful beaches in Comporta, and close to amazing restaurants. Guillerme was a fantastic host. He gave us super clear instructions before check-in, shared great local recommendations, and checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. He was always quick to reply if we had any questions, which made the experience even better.

Francisca's house is wonderful and our stay was amazing! Perfect for a getaway in Alentejo, in a super quiet and peaceful place. We'll be back for sure!

The house is perfectly located on the beautiful Serra D'Ossa with lots of things to do on the surroundings. The host was very friendly and responsive and the house has pristine.

if you don't like: the birds chirping, the sound of sheep bells in the distance, bathe in a 15x5 pool for two in a green setting, not to mention the exciting discussions on history, geography, local crafts with Carlos... then go on your way!

Very nice little house typical of the area. Beautiful exterior! The jacuzzi is a great bonus for a great evening after a day of sightseeing in the area. Nothing was missing, everything was clean and functional, the amenities as well as the kitchen. Very welcoming host, bread and bottle of wine for us. Very convenient because you can park your car in front of the front door. Small downside with the bathroom shower that quickly becomes either too hot or too cold, but it's a detail. We'll come back to it without hesitation.

Monte West Coast’s Casa da Gaiola is a gem. Beautiful grounds and very close to the nearby beaches and towns. Quiet and pleasant. Catarina is an amazing host and anyone would be lucky to experience this place.

Incredible stay in Comporta in this beautiful typical cabin. The images are not misleading, the house is even more beautiful in real life, the exteriors are beautiful, the garden is very well maintained and the jasmine is exceptional!

Authentic and beautiful place with an amazing view from the backyard. Monsaraz is one of the nicest villages in the neighborhood. All recommendations for both the location and accommodation.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa da Falesia. We were welcomed to the house by Renato and his wife. They were extremely helpful, explaining all the house details and giving us advice about the surroundings, places to visit, where to eat (we went 3 times to Tia Rosa) and buy essentials . The house is fully equipped, and even if there is no air conditioning, it kept cool and comfortable the whole stay, even if the temperatures outside were quite high (32C). The beach is three minutes away, by walk, accessible by a stair that goes down an amazing cliff, resembling a star wars scenery. The location was perfect for us, as it allow us to do some birding excursions at the trails of Lagoa de Sto André, and to the bird observation tower at Praia de Melides. It’s also close to Comporta, where you can find some nice designer shops (even if quite expensive), and Troia, where you can find a beautiful beach, where swimming is less challenging. We do hope to return one day.

We were received in a very warm and friendly manner by Catia and her family. It felt right at home. Everything was very clean, smelled good and super equipped in every way to spend a wonderful few days there. Definitely recommended for smaller families. Catia knew that we were arriving with a child and immediately provided us with everything we needed and more. The location was easy to find and everything was within walking distance and there are enough parking spaces nearby. We were very happy to stay at this wonderful accommodation and would definitely do it again. Thank you dear Catia ❤️

Fantastic stay with Joana in her beautiful and serene Airbnb. Highly, highly recommend, the photos don’t do the space justice. Every morning, Joana prepares a delicious breakfast for her guests. We had a wonderful multi-generational family gathering at Lisa's house. The living room and pool area provided a comfortable gathering place enhanced by the beautiful landscaping and convenient location. Lisa was very helpful and accommodating and even sent photos of the baby crib and highchair in advance to reassure us that our 9 month old grandchild would be comfortable. She helped us plan our day trip to Lisbon, provided a chef, and a wonderful babysitter for our last night dinner out. She was super responsive and friendly and made the whole experience easy. The house is very tastefully furnished and the layout is well designed. Having the heated pool was a special treat. The manual for the house was such a helpful resource with links to recommended sites. We appreciated the effort taken to communicate all the information about the house and area in such an organized way. Thank you Lisa and Peter for a wonderful stay at your lovely Comporta home.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful week at Ed's beautiful Cabanas. It is really well set up for a family and really has everything you could need (e.g. beach chairs, beach towels, buckets and spades) as well as a washing machine & dryer, which is very much appreciated when travelling with children! We stayed in May half term week and the weather was lovely and the heated pool excellent. It's a lovely peaceful area and the scenery is stunning (there is quite a bit of building going on in the region but it is generally well screened and there was nothing that disturbed the peace for us). The beaches are beautiful and close by. Eating out was easy and there were lots of options even though I think the season was just getting going - Ed gave us some great recommendations. Thank you!

Comfortable house in a really good location. Communication was really good

As others have said the hosts were excellent. We immediately felt at home and were welcomed with a jug of homemade lemonade and fruit. The accommodation itself was spotlessly clean and we found it refreshingly cool in the hot Alentejo summer without the need to use the aircon. It's a short drive to Évora which is a lovely city with some excellent restaurants. All in all this was one of our best stays in an AirBnB.

Absolutely gorgeous and very well equipped house with a lovely pool in a nice quarter not far from Comporta. Beautiful surroundings (trees/forest right behind the house) and close to the beach. Everything was so gorgeous, comfortable, clean, and peaceful! The rooftops provided such a perfect way to watch the sunset, and Zambujeira do Mar is such a cute village with a lot of great hiking, restaurants and a great beach just footsteps below this great property. Major thanks to Andreia for ensuring our safe arrival and entry despite it being incredibly late.
