Vladimirs place was exactly as described. The location was perfect - close to the main square in town and the beach. It was extremely clean and spacious for the three of us who were visiting. Would recommend and return.

We had a great stay at Chiho & Nuno’s place. The apartment is spacy and located in a quiet street. We also appreciated quick and helpsom communication during our stay. Would definitly reccomend this apartment when planning a trip to lisbon.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights in the historic center of Sintra. It’s a beautiful small town area to be in. The apartment has everything you need. The location is very cool overlooking the main square. We enjoyed watching the town wake up in the mornings. So many restaurants and bakeries just steps from the front door. We had fun with that after coming from the Azores which are very quiet and remote. In the off season of early May, Sintra closes down by 7 pm. There are very few restaurants or shops open once the day tripping tourists leave. We were surprised by that but didn’t mind it as we were tired after our days spent walking around palaces and castles and beautiful gardens. I’d recommend this apartment to anyone as long as they don’t have mobility issues. There are 33 steps to climb once inside the building. Climbing them was worth it for the views of the historic center of Sintra.

Staying at Ana and Jorge’s place in Lisbon may be the best AirBnB experience I’ve had. They are super responsive and make sure you got in and settled. The listing is also very convenient to buses and metro, and doesn’t take a long time from the airport either. An ALDI and Auchan are nearby and the street is quiet at night. The listing was clean, comfortable, and was large enough that we felt we had enough personal space while we were there. But what really sets Ana and Jorge apart is how much they care. We were greeted with homemade food made by Ana and Jorge, left for us for when we arrived and they brought us something else to try later in our stay. It was all delicious and really shows how much they enjoy hosting guests. I highly recommend Ana and Jorge as hosts and this listing is perfect for a trip to Lisbon.

This place was stunning. We had a great stay! There were six of us and more than enough room. The host was fantastic and super easy to get in touch with. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at Villa de Rui, a villa in the heart of a golf course, so the environment was quiet and peaceful! Rui is a really good host, he was very responsive when we had a problem with the gate remote! Thank you very much Rui for your hospitality, I will come back to you without hesitation for my next trip to Lisbon.

We had a great week at Luis' apartment, who is an amazing host, very kind and with great tips! The fact that he speaks French is really a plus and facilitates interactions. The bed was very comfortable, we slept very well. The 2 terraces are very pleasant, with beautiful views of the pantheon and the Tagus. The apartment is functional, the kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The building is a little off-center, which allows you to be quiet (a real plus) and everything is within walking distance without difficulty. If you take the plane, favor Uber over the metro because Uber doesn't really cost much there (we left during the train strike and Uber was a valuable ally to rally Belem or Sintra). Some good restaurants around the apartment, just a few minutes' walk. We recommend it.

We had the perfect stay at this apartment. It’s so beautiful - the bougainvillea and jasmine on the patio were in full bloom when we stayed and the sight and scent were breathtaking. The apartment is delightfully decorated and wonderfully comfortable. The location is perfect - right in the middle of Alfama, so if you are looking for great food, Fado music, atmospheric alleyways and courtyards and people selling the local liquor from their doorways, you’ve come to the right place. Plus it isn’t too high up the hill which is a plus if you have heavy cases! And Andre was such a brilliant host, full of recommendations and always on hand when we needed him. We’ll definitely return.

We spent a few days at Nathy's apartment which has a beautiful ocean view. The accommodation is impeccable and very well decorated . Nathy welcomed us very well upon arrival and provided us with all the information we needed to have a good stay. And also, we had a basket filled with sweets, wine, bread and more. I recommend this very well located and exceptional accommodation with this magnificent view of the sea and 5 minutes' walk to the beach.

Had a great one-night stay here. The flat was clean, peaceful, and really well thought out. The stocked fridge with an honour system was such a nice touch, and made settling in really easy. The bed was super comfortable too, the memory foam mattress topper was a dream after a few nights in a hostel! Great location and smooth check-in. Would definitely come back.

We had a gorgeous stay here with our toddler. The house had everything we needed for traveling with a child and was complete with toys, beach going needs like towels, umbrellas, and beach toys, as well as a crib and high chair. We borrowed their bikes and explored town and loved visiting the gelato place that’s around the corner. At night, we listened to the frogs in the rice paddies behind the house and loved watching the bird life during the day. Getting to the beach was quick and easy and we spent two days there. We had a wonderful stay at Lise's apartment. It was even more spacious than expected for a city apartment and was even better than described. The bedrooms and bathrooms were big with high ceilings. The location was tremendous. Great restaurants and shops just minutes away. I would absolutely consider staying here again when I return to Lisbon.

Gorgeous villa with stunning views! We had a multigenerational family vacation here and everyone loved the place. All the rooms are larger that they look in photos. If you go in the spring, expect a mix of mostly stormy and some sunny days. In rainy days we focused on museums in Lisbon. Sunny days were stunning in the villa. So glad this beautiful home is preserved and enjoyed by many people!

Passing through for 2 days, we discovered a peaceful place in the middle of nature tastefully decorated. Very quiet place, superb landscape when opening the curtains. The best thing for a family with children is to be able to participate and feed the farm animals. Nadine & JLuc (Superhost in Algarve)

An idyllic place to spend a week with close friends. The house was made for both relaxing in gorgeous spaces and easy exploration of the area. Meal prep for a large crowd was a breeze in the well equipped kitchen. There is a great market close by and there are several restaurants within a short distance from the house. João was an incredible host, checking in a few times to make sure we were comfortable and well supplied. We felt fortunate to have landed in such a wonderful place. Thank you João!

Just back from a fantastic week. The best airbnb we have visited to date. Larger than photos look with a great layout. Lovely bedrooms that are both en-suite, as well as an additional two bathrooms! Indoor living room adjoined to a great conservatory area overlooking the playpark (great for our toddler) and views! We could eat in a different setting for each meal - with the outdoor seating our favourite for evenings and the upstairs terrace for morning coffee! Oh and the pool - beautiful and warm and so private. Lovely green space surrounding the pool where all you can hear is the birds - and the breeze was lovely. Hosts were fab! Only thing that could make it better would be option to talk to cafe or bar…: but then you would lose some of the peace! So for us… it was perfect!

We spent a week in Daniel's house with 2 families and had a great time. The house and property are not only large, but also already furnished or landscaped. The kitchen is well equipped and with a heated pool, new kicker, yoga mats, the table tennis table and the grill, there is plenty to do even without excursions. But in view of the beautiful, quiet nature (from time to time the dog barking is a bit annoying) in the immediate vicinity and the versatile beaches (in the west with waves, at Sesimbra quiet Caribbean, but cold:-)) it would be a shame to forego excursions. However, you need a rental car and shopping facilities are a little further away (up to the small shop in the village, which offers essentials). We would definitely book the house again.
