Nyree and Jeff were the perfect hosts and their home in Proissans is just idyllic. We had 6 wonderful days there and wished we’d booked longer. The setting is so beautiful, the gite is lovely, cosy and well appointed, we loved the animals and the pool, and Nyree and Jeff were so kind and welcoming. There is lots to do in the surrounding areas and Nyree and Jeff made some great recommendations including canoeing along the dordogne and a visit to Chateau des Milandes. We would 100% recommend a stay and hope to return again next year.

i think I've never rented such a clean place and what a pleasure! The house matches the description and even better than the photos. The kitchen equipment is top notch. We felt right at home and it's not easy! Quiet house but shops are 5 minutes away by car. We found the hot tub nice to spend the new year. Thanks to Pauline for his availability and hospitality. Relaxing and refreshing family stay. Do it again in summer for this time to take advantage of the swimming pool.

We were delighted with our weekend in this idyllic setting. The decoration is neat, the covered outdoor space with the jacuzzi is particularly pleasant and magical at night. Tranquility is preserved, the comfort of the rental is very pleasant and the location is ideal.

What a fabulous gite in a wonderful location to explore the best of the Dordogne. 10 minutes from Terrasson, a beautiful old town on the river, spoilt for choice for great restaurants… or simple chilled evenings taking in the views. Jenny (& Fleur) is the perfect host, going above and beyond to ensure you have a perfect stay. Not intrusive but if you a fancy a glass of wine she will be on hand! (thank you for ours) We would return in a heartbeat and hopefully soon. Would highly recommend.

We had a very nice stay with Sofie and Irm. After a long drive, we arrived very late at night, in the dark. Nevertheless, we were received with great kindness by Sofie and we immediately saw: this is a beautiful place. The gite has all the comforts, is super clean and very nicely decorated. The grounds are very large, beautiful and definitely worth exploring. Monpazier is within walking distance with many good restaurants. Sofie and Irm are very sweet hosts. They are always up for a chat, give valuable tips, and gave us fresh eggs every few days. You can really see that they enjoy hosting guests and making them feel comfortable. We had a lovely stay at La Florelie. The setting is really beautiful, quiet and relaxing. Total relaxation. Thanks to Simon for hosting us as well as Beau and Belle ;) I recommend it and we will come back without hesitation.

That was a wonderful stay. Fanny and the family were extremely welcoming. Despite our disorganization the welcome us in a warm manner, providing helpful support for a sick member of our trip. The place is amazing, truly peaceful, clean and relaxing. Sleep here is so long and refreshing! Totally recommend!

We felt very comfortable, everything was as described Christine is a very warm host, we even received a gift at the reception, a wonderful environment, also right by the house Our dogs also felt very comfortable and we'd come back any time.

Sophie and Craig were the perfect hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a welcoming (and much appreciated) basket of goodies waiting for us on our arrival and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The gite was just as described and the perfect place to unwind. Lovely views throughout the meadow and surrounding area, the natural pool was a delight. The chickens provided fresh eggs for breakfast and the dogs, Roo and Ted are adorable. A lovely private old cottage on beautiful grounds with a swimming pool. The cottage is fenced in, so the dog can run free in the garden. It has everything you need and is nice and cool on hot summer days. Patrick was so welcoming. We loved our stay here.

Check-in with Evelyne very easy and friendly. Small touch on arrival, much appreciated. Small house in the middle of nature for a guaranteed change of scenery. I would highly recommend it

the house was extremely comfortable and had a lovely fenced garden and super terrace. we enjoyed coming home there. the distance from facilities was doable with sarlat 14 mins away.

We had a great couple of weeks here. It proved an ideal location from which to explore the Périgord Vert. A very peaceful spot with a secure garden for our dog and walks nearby. The facilities in the cottage were excellent and as described and we really appreciated the bottle of wine and home made cake on arrival. The pool was very relaxing and comfortable and easily warm enough to swim in late May. There is an (excellent) boulangerie in the nearest village which is walkable and supermarkets for provisions in Brantôme. Several nearby towns had markets. Suzy and Steve (and Alfie) were lovely hosts and we fully recommend it. It was exactly what we wanted.

We had a great week. Laurence and Bertrand are very welcoming people and ready to help us and inform us about the many destinations the region offers. It's a nice detached house.

We had a wonderful week at Coucou Cottage. The cottage is very well equipped and is beautifully styled and furnished throughout. Thédirac is a peaceful village, surrounded by gorgeous countryside. We enjoyed our morning trip to the boulangerie and there was so much to do in the area, we need to come back so we can do more! Rachel is a wonderful host, who made us feel extremely welcome and at home, we throughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

As an older single woman, traveling alone for the first time in my life, Hans and Jokie helped me to feel safe and cared for. They were genuine , positive and very approachable. They also gave me my privacy and dealt with questions and minor issues promptly. They had time to chat but they were not intrusive. They were perfect hosts!

An oasis of peace and nature. Hoodoo, woodpecker and oriole to observe directly, great. The cottage directly on the forest, more spacious than expected, comfortable large bed, everything comfortable and stylishly furnished. Friendly and helpful welcome with fresh strawberries and good tips from Francois and caring communication with Michele. We felt very comfortable.

Nothing to say about the place, it was perfect. Cécile and Sean had great tips. There are plenty of places to visit near the accommodation, gastronomic discoveries and pretty villages. A very nice place.

holiday experience was great from start to finish very helpful hosts and set in a very scenic area which was close to the major attractions in the area whether you wanted to explore grottos or chateaus / castles or scenic towns all were within easy reach. welcomed and shown around the property and shown and explained all we needed to know , the use of bikes - bike path right next to property close to villages of les Eyzies and le Bugue 2 person kayak right next to river Vezere - very relaxing paddle on the river not to be missed out. pool area was great and heated with lovely gardens and lots of areas to sit with your morning coffee badminton net and rackets supplied your own barbecue area and every utensil for barbecue or kitchen was supplied first experience with air bnb and the hosts went above and beyond what we expected very pleased many thanks for having us David & Caroline

We had a great week at Alexandra's place The house is very comfortable, we found everything we wanted there. It is very well located, it allowed us many visits and hikes in the area. In addition, Alexandra is very welcoming and available. We recommend 100%.
