We only stayed two nights but it was definitely worth it! Location is great; on the main street with lots of nice cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The large terrace is also wonderful! Both in the morning to wake up quietly and in the evening with buzz & live music from the nearby cafes. Nice experience in an authentic atmosphere.

A beautiful space with amazing views. My family of seven had more than enough room. We arrived at 2am and had no issues accessing the home. There was a 24/7 security Marco was wonderful and was always up waiting for us. The house is located in a quiet residential area. people were friendly and we were close to everything We used uber to go everywhere it was super inexpensive. The kitchen was well-equipped and l was able to cook meals for a large group. The hosts were easy to communicate with and very responsive to all concerns l loved the peace and serenity this home provided during our stay in Brazil. Thanks to our hosts

Our experience at Sam Río’s art deco mansion was wonderful. Everything was great from check-in, cleanliness, communication, outstanding location, and even some playboy posters make for an authentic rio feel inside of the beautiful art deco mansion. The balcony has breath taking views of the sunrise and sunset. We had a group of 8 guys, who all had plenty of room for themselves. This mansion is located near the favela’s but we never once felt unsafe and even got to walk through and explore the favela area, just be smart. Located right between Ipanema and Copacabana, we felt like we were located in the middle of everything. Short walks to the great beaches, shops, and restaurants. Overall, if your looking to get the authentic rio and cultural feel I highly recommend staying with Goitaca in this beautiful art deco mansion.

I loved my stay, it was an amazing weekend and I can't wait to return. The house is exactly as shown in the photos, the view is even better! Shops next to the house, cafeterias, I particularly ordered from ifood, which also delivers. My communication with Maria Fernanda was great, she responded quickly and I had no problems!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this Airbnb! We were a group, and from the very beginning, we felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of. Very nice apartment, incredible view. Airplanes can be a bit disruptive for sleeping in the morning, so it's good to be prepared for the noise. But other than that, it's amazing.

We had a wonderful stay in Rio! Very communicative and helpful. He even arranged laundry for us to be done. Cute spot, the bath was outside in this little private courtyard. Would come back!

Amazing flat with one of the best views of Ipanema! it looks just like the pictures if not better. super close to the beach and the location in general is great with loads of botecos, stores, etc. Julie as a host was amazing, always super responsive and gave us loads of tips. Will definitely try staying here the next time I'm in Rio!

The apartment is exactly as described, in addition to being super clean, organized and with all the basic utensils for the stay (linens, bath towels, kitchen utensils, etc. - all of good quality and clean). Adriana was super helpful the whole time, answering our questions and being flexible with our check-out. We had a small problem with a leak (a normal thing, and it did not affect our positive experience at all) and she helped us promptly. I highly recommend the apartment and the host, and I hope to be able to return other times.

The apartment is nice. The photos matched except for the amount of dishes and utensils that were not in line with the number of people who could stay in the apartment. There were a lot of things missing for cooking. When we arrived, the shower in the master bedroom was broken and they had to come two days to fix it. The whirlpool is not working. Everything else is very good. They didn't let us check out late, but they offered us a room in the same building to stay for the hours we needed. They took care of everything we needed.
