This place was a dream! The views are unmatched!! The home is situated in an ideal private location between Ipanema and Barra De Tijuca! It is within walking to Praia Joa!! I would definitely stay again.

Sebastian was an absolute gem of a host. I booked this place last minute and was initially worried about the location, particularly the 1.5km dirt road that made it hard to access via Uber. Sebastian put those worries at ease with great communication. He lives next door, and takes being a host seriously. He gave great recommendations for restaurants, provided a ride into Copa to continue exploring the city, and was gracious in providing tips to navigate Rio. The space itself is breathtaking-it is exactly like the photos, serene and refreshing, a haven in the middle of a sometimes choatic Rio. But Sebastian and his expertise were what set this place apart. Truly remarkable.

I celebrated my birthday in this house and it was just amazing, I was only two days, but wanting to stay longer.. the house is huge, super clean and with a breathtaking view… much more beautiful in person! If you want a house with space, enjoy with family and friends, pool, view.. this is the house!!!!

great stay at a seemingly historic house! nestled in the same mountain as christ the redeemer so be prepared to see him every day! (good thing ). we had a party of 5 and it was more than accommodating! seemed safe area and very much a rio vibe! every morning seems a little magical walking around the compound. andrea was beyond amazing! really have no complaints. if you don’t need all the “high end”amenities and want something real this is a vibe. bathrooms are set up for accommodating large groups perfectly!

Very nice house! With a swimming pool and wonderful barbecue area to have a nice post-beach barbecue! Great location! Close to everything for those who need to go to the supermarket, pharmacy, shopping and various bars... Also, close to Christ the Redeemer ! Very friendly and polite homeowner. I recommend this house for rest and leisure.....it does not present any danger!

Staying at Bea’s contemporary forest home was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, Bea was so warm, kind, and welcoming—truly a thoughtful and considerate host. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, offering countless local recommendations and even helping one of my friends recover a lost phone. When Bea wasn’t available, her amazing assistant Maisla was always there to help out with just as much care. The house itself is stunning—beautifully designed with a mid-century modern vibe that perfectly complements the surrounding nature. Bea has a remarkable eye for detail, and every corner of the home reflects her love for aesthetics and hospitality. It’s airy, open, and full of peaceful forest energy. We felt so cared for and inspired during our stay. Would absolutely come back again. Bea and Maisla are truly special hosts filled with heart and love. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at The Villa in Copacabana. Communication was superb, and we were warmly greeted by Lara and other staff upon arrival. Our airline misplaced our luggage, and the staff even awaited its arrival while we explored Rio. The Villa is beautiful and is located within walking distance of restaurants, stores, and Copacabana beach. It is on a gated street and is equipped with an alarm system. The bedrooms gave ample space for our party of 8. The rooftop pool was enjoyed by kids and adults alike. The daily presence of staff was very helpful- the services (including laundry for a reasonable fee) allowed us to enjoy ourselves without worrying about cleaning, etc. The first night we arrived, Chef Renato prepared dinner for us, which was the best meal we had during our entire trip. We were also able to arrange for transfer to and from the airport through the Villa which was very convenient. We had a fantastic time here and cannot say enough good things about our experience!

Michele was a great host. The place is great, close to Arcos da Lapa and Santos Dumont airport. Recommended accommodation both in cleaning and organizing aspects, as well as in cost-benefit. On another occasion that I return to Rio, I will certainly wish to use it again.

We adore! I felt at home, the view is really beautiful, the community is super quiet, it is close to everything, markets, beach, mototaxi point etc. Marli and Ana were sensational in hosting us. We'll be back for sure.

Our family really enjoyed the spacious accommodation. Everything was perfect. It had everything we needed. Fantastic location near lots of restaurants, shops and the beach.

I just finished another stay at Patrick's Colonial Casa. I was there for 11 nights. I like the old style of the house - tall ceilings, lots of windows with shutters, easy access. The kitchen is well equipped including microwave and panini grill. Electric hot shower works well. Small balcony with washer is great area for laundry with outdoor drying. Patrick and Elias are easy to communicate with. I look forward to returning yet again, soon.

we were in a group of friends and had a great time at this location! Mauro, the host, was extremely thoughtful and welcoming - there was no unresolved - agile responses and constant help. the place is very quiet, half away from the beaches, but nothing that cannot be solved with a car. super clean and organized, it's a quieter location - ideal for those traveling with family! they care for their privacy, but they are still attentive, which is great! highly recommend the valley and it was worth every penny invested! Maybe we went back to the river, we would definitely stay at this location again. 10/10.

Amazing place in Vidigal! The view and the terrace is unbeatable. Saulo and the other hosts were very helpful. The place is ideal for 4 people, but could fit more if needed. We felt very safe and it is easy to reach once you understand how the transport works. Can definitely recommend!

My experience, although quick, was great. From the first contact Rafael was super attentive and helpful. The space is exactly as advertised. Quiet, clean and very well-equipped place. Super recommended.

Stéphane, the owner, was very welcoming, agreeing to anticipate the check-in time. He took us around the neighborhood to show us the points of interest, shops, restaurants etc. The house is very large and each room has a bathroom. Nevertheless, it should be noted that only 1 bedroom has air conditioning. The others have fans (this was enough at the end of December). Also to be specified: a room is below, accessible by the courtyard. This room is really very small (single bed and little space around the bed). We prefer to let future guests know , but in no way did it spoil our stay. Again Stephane was always available and kind to us and was always very responsive. The accommodation is very well located in Santa Teresa Certainly the metro is not close (25 min walk) but Uber is the best option to get around Rio (fast and cheap)

Absolutely lovely place to stay in Santa Teresa! Very comfortable beds; a lovely open living room and dining area; and a very pleasant porch area to sit in. Close to some nice restaurants and views; an easy taxi ride to anywhere else popular in town. Definitely a highly recommended stay in Santa Teresa!

Stunning place, great location close to a lot of night life and restaurants. The house is beautifully decorated and full of charm!The pool was great as well. Group of 10 fit very comfortably. Note, there are lots of stairs to get up to the house and some rooms/main areas. May want to bring extra towels (for beach and pool).

Communication with Ana and her son Lucas was excellent, always with quick responses. The accommodation is in a very well located village, in the middle of the Humaitá neighborhood, but a silence that seemed interior, without vehicle noise. At the door of the house we could see Christ! And the super cosy house, as described in the photos, with kitchen utensils needed for a comfortable stay, extremely clean bathrooms, a winter garden communicating the bedroom with the suite, large living room and a super comfortable 6 seating table. It also had a parking space in front of the house, with automatic gate for the car and pedestrians. We will come back more often, when possible.

My stay at Angela's was great! The place was exactly as described, clean, cozy and well equipped. Angela was a great host: always available, helpful and friendly. The location was ideal, with good access to public transport and nice cafes nearby. I felt completely comfortable and would love to come back. Thank you, Angela!

Ana has one of the most beautifully designed and furnished homes I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in, surrounded by nature and beauty, with the city just a few lights away, I can’t say enough about how great the place was. Ana was a great host who stayed in constant contact with help and assistance I would recommend her home to anyone wanting to enjoy a lovely comfortable stay, THANKS ANA !!!!!
