Very quiet place to stay very recommended

Fabulous from the moment we arrived. Liz is so friendly and easy going she had no hesitation when she knew we were bringing dogs for a show. The accommodation is lovely, more than we expected, clean and tidy - very warm and comfortable. Liz directed us to where we could let the dogs have a dip in the river - our stay was just so easy. The weather was fabulous when we arrived so sitting on the decking having a drink was much needed after a busy day. Honestly can't rate higher - great value for money. Liz went up and beyond .. even came over at night when couldn't find a channel on the TV lol. Will stay again next year when the dog show is on !!

Kelly communicated with us frequently before and during our stay.The unit were exactly as advertised with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. Everything were catered for in the unit making us felt at home. We would recommend this to all our friends visiting the area.

This is THE most gorgeous place we have ever ever ever stayed. Set amongst the mountains, the contrast between the warmth of the design inside against the backdrop of all the native plants. Waking up to pīwakawaka chirping next to our window every morning, and the roaring stags. The comfort of the bed, the luxury of having a bath! The quality hand wash and lotion. Every small detail - we fell in love. Even the tissue box tissue seemed to sparkle! ✨ To echo everyone else’s reviews, the house smells absolutely divine, is so clean, and we really appreciated all of the complimentary food, as well as the quality tea and coffee. I booked myself here for a writing retreat, and it was perfect - I wish we’d stayed longer. My husband went out and cycled the Kaikōura trail straight from the house. It is so so perfect and we will definitely be back again. Also - best granola we’ve ever tasted. Thank you Susie for a beautiful stay in your gorgeous home!! ❤️
