This place was magical. First off Giuseppe was awesome. He gave us a tour of the place to make sure in case we had any questions. He sent us info on what there was to do in the area & where to eat. He responded very fast if we had questions during our stay. The villa was stunning. Everyday we had the view of the Adriatic Sea. As far as your eye could see where the sea met the sky. We were very lucky to have beautiful wether during our week stay. It was very relaxing having the option of going 5 mins away to jump in the sea or relax on the rocks in the sun. His place was super well equipped with everything you could need.The local grocery store was around 12 mins away. As well, we used the place as a base. It allowed us to drive to Lecce, Gallipoli, and Leuca. All drive ranged in 20 mins to an hour.The villa was on top of a restaurant, & was never as issue. We frequented a great restaurant called Dédalos(awesome food & hospitality). Thank you Giuseppe, we look forward to coming back😊

from September 16 to 22, 2024 my partner and I stayed at the Vedette Gemelle, apartment "La Carruba". Fantastic location! Bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchen complete with everything. The "plus" is the outdoor veranda overlooking the sea, with armchairs and sofa where you can have wonderful aperitifs in the evening or breakfast in the morning. Every night the moon gave us the best of itself with breathtaking reflections on the sea. Nearby (you need to travel by car but there is also parking) there are beautiful beaches, wonderful villages and cities and great restaurants. Highly recommended for those in need of relaxation, to unplug for a while.

We alsolutely loved this location!!! The surrounding of the house is stunning and was one of the most beautiful spots we have ever been!! Inside, is was a “classical” holiday home. We agree with the other comments, that the sofa is super uncomfy as the back of the sofa does not stay in a comfy place. But the bed on the other hand was super comfy. As bathroom was a bit dated with a strange smell. We so not agree with the other comments concerning the equipment in the kitchen: we found a lot of spices and oil, noodles, vinegar and so on. Over all we recommend this place because of this super nice outdoor area with a nice bbq, super beautiful terrasses (plenty of them) and different seatings with loads of trees, flowers, beautiful nature around. We hope we can come back at some time (and the sofa and bathroom will be fixes by then, haha). We also recommend the really really beautiful hiking (starting in Gagliano del capo down to the seaside, to the Grotte cipolliane and bridge, back up)
