Reuben's Highland Retreat - Lodge Ness

JitendraRating, 5 stars3 months ago
one of the best place I stayed till date. with clear instructions provided over email, it was easier to find. check in was smooth. we got full kitchen with utensils and some ready to eat noodles among other things. kids loved the Star Wars theme. TV with Netflix subscription was helpful since weather was not very good with rain and snow warning, so we spent some time watching TV. local area is very peaceful and lovely. we hope to return in future.
The image depicts a circular gravel drive surrounded by several wooden chalets, set within a green lawn. A flower planter, made from a wooden barrel, adds a touch of color in the foreground. Lush trees and distant hills create a natural backdrop.

Self catering chalet for 2 Fort Augustus Loch Ness

HowardRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Julie was a charming host. Very Friendly and informative. She was always around so if we had any problems we could talk to her. The accommodation was very good with the exception of no hooks to hang any coats anywhere which meant we had to drape coats over chairs etc. We were very unlucky with the weather so found the chalet very cosy as long as we had the electric fire on all the time. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We feel that the chalets could look more appealing by having a coat of paint on the outside of them. Also the amount of potholes in the grounds made driving a bit difficult. This was more the case on the approach road in Fort Augustus where these couldn't be avoided. With some careful planning, the ones in the chalet park were easy to avoid. We had a lovely week and Bella enjoyed exploring around the grounds. Thank you for everything Julie and a memorable stay. Howard, Sean and Bella.

A basic mountain getaway. Way bigger than expected and a location that can't be beat if you are in the highlands for the mountains. Well stocked with most essentials and kitchen tools. BYO body soap, conditioner, and hairdryer. Great price. No issues.

Gamekeeper Lodge loch and mountain view free wifi

Anne MarieRating, 5 stars10 months ago
there was a mix up as the host did not have any of my details to forward info to me he said travel nest had not sent them to him ,so we did not know that there was a little shop on site or the use of some equipment and board games which would have been great but too late by time we knew! Also we confirmed we had dogs and again travelnest did not inform the host that we had paid for dogs in the cost.

Fisher Lodge

DavidRating, 5 stars12 months ago
We had a lovely, peaceful and relaxing stay at Port Nellan. Fisher lodge provided everything you could possibly need for your stay. The surroundings are gorgeous and a haven for wildlife, which were lovely to watch. We did have an issue with WiFi and no mobile phone signal in our lodge. This meant we were unable to communicate with family or plan our trips around the area unless we went out and about. We did email Cameron and he responded to say there was an issue with Starlink. This was unfortunate as it was an otherwise wonderful getaway in a beautiful part of the country.

Cosy Modern Nordic Lodge w/ Loch View + Log Burner

MeenakshiRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Linda’s place was absolutely magical - you are nestled amongst trees with views of the loch and surrounded by birds chirping. We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The kitchen was so thoughtfully stocked, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The location of the chalet itself is perfect : 20 minutes from Callandar which had great restaurants and shopping, and 10 minute ride into Killin and other beautiful nature spots. Linda was so helpful and responsive throughout our stay — it really made our experience stress free. We will definitely be back!

The location is one in a million! The best spot across Loch lomond. At the foot of Ben lomond and many other hiking trails. Lots of activities just at the doorstep but away from the crowds! Fantastic stay with kids. Sarah's place is lovely, very comfortable and spacious. However, if you are allergic to pets hair be careful.

The Retreat at Tulloch Farm

MichelleRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Tulloch Farm is the perfect location to explore Lochaber and the Cairgorms with easy access to all the main roads. It is so peaceful on the farm. There are well laid out walks and paths around the farm and by the river which were perfect for us. We were so fortunate with the weather during our stay, but the cottage itself is cosy and warm with lots of games and books. Our children especially loved the well kitted games room onsite. Excellent recycling facilities too. We throughly recommend the Retreat at Tulloch Farm.

What a wonderful stay, the cottage was perfectly situated on Loch Ness with amazing views. It was warm, (very important in February!) cozy & comfortable with everything we needed. Osh was so friendly and helpful - and we saw an otter, which was fabulous. Gold star for the accommodation and location.
