Tiny house vacation rentals in Connecticut River

What a wonderful, peaceful oasis! The treehouse at the Shire is just incredible! The hosts were very welcoming and communicative. The grounds and property are just stunning. There are also trails and a trail map to adventure on the property. They also have a very sweet pup, Bo, who became best friends with my dogs (after a friendly introduction and me asking if he was free to play). I can’t say enough positive things about this place! Great location to hike and have a peaceful respite, but close to restaurants too! Also, LGBTQ+ friendly!

Don’t have a lot to say other than that it was a very nice, clean, cute space. Very quiet and peaceful with the little river right next to us. Definitely do recommend staying here but also if you have a small car be careful going up the road to get to the cabin.

Dave is such a kind and welcoming host! He is great with communication. The place is such a nice and cozy space to relax and enjoy the nature around you. I used fire pit for both nights I was there and it was so peaceful to sit by while hearing the water from the brook. Will definitely be visiting again soon!

This was our 4th stay at rose mountain and it didn’t disappoint. Great location for exploring surrounding towns. The cabins are cozy and inviting

Came for the Fall colors; left in love with the place! Small but delightful. Cluttered in the most fantastical way. Nestled in paradise. Bonnie is so nice and friendly! Pay attention to the fact that the toilet is not attached to house. Short walk to privet and very clean!

What a great find! This adorable, cozy cabin in an absolute oasis of a yard, was perfect for my short stay in Portland. Darcy and Jennifer were wonderful hosts! Their communication was helpful and friendly. I loved meeting them and getting a tour of the garden. The cabin was so cozy and had everything I expected. They were very clear about the bathroom situation - composting toilet and schedule a shower at the main house - so my expectations were managed. I was able to Uber into Portland for a wonderful night on the town with some friends and then make the quick trip to the airport in the morning. I would definitely stay here again!

The Dollhouse was amazing. We immediately felt right at home. We walked to town in 7 minutes and it was 1.5 miles from the venue we were going to. It was very peaceful to sit on the front porch swing and relax. The space was immaculately clean and comfortable. There were many extra blankets and pillows and the beds were extremely comfortable and cozy. There is a little back room off the kitchen to sit and relax as well. We made food and all amenities needed were at hand. There is ample parking. Loved our time here. Thank you Susan!

My husband and I had a great time at The Alexander, it was the perfect peaceful getaway we were looking for. The view is just gorgeous and the A-Frame was so cozy and welcoming. No complaints, 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

A wonderful couple and cute shack under the stars! I really enjoyed my stay at the Shackhilton. Karen and Peter were very friendly and came out to help me get settled and kept me entertained with great banter. The place was very clean and cozy. I would definitely go back!

We had a great time at Mark's place. From the beginning, Mark had quick responses and answered any and all questions quickly. Check in was super easy and the house matches the photos exactly. We were impressed by how spotless the house is, not a speck of dust. Thanks again, Mark!

We had an amazing stay at the Darya cabin. The kitchen was nicely stocked up and offered all of the appliances you would need. The cabin feels very private and you are surrounded by nature. I’m looking forward to our next stay here.

We had a wonderful,albeit brief stay. We wish we had at least 1 more day! The trails were absolutely adorable and our dog had a blast exploring them. We all slept incredibly well and it was the perfect spot for an overnight stay. Our host was great with communication, extremely friendly and helpful upon arrival. We can’t wait to go back and enjoy another stay!

I only stayed one night, while visiting friends in town but the whole time I was there I was thinking about how I much I want to come back. I will definitely be checking availability any time I’m staying in the area. The house was so clean, peaceful, and had beautiful views.

We had a very brief but enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend Kimberly‘s place to anyone coming from out of town. It’s an adorable, well appointed tiny house on beautiful grounds. It’s so quiet, down a long dirt road, and really enjoyed getting away for a night. This place is perfect for a little romantic getaway, especially when it started to snow!

the tiny house was so cute and cozy! the property is always so peaceful and relaxing. I enjoyed the tent sauna and always love the outdoor shower overlooking the mountains! Jonathan is the best host and such a kind and awesome person. I always look forward to my next stay at symphony farm :)

Tastefully decorated, well equipped tiny home just off Route 6 about a mile south of the southernmost turn off to Wellfleet Center. In spite of its proximity to the road, it is surrounded by tall trees and feels wonderfully private and peaceful. I really enjoyed the outdoor shower, deck, fire pit and hammock as well as the smell of the woods! It was the best of both worlds: I felt immersed in nature, but had all the comforts of home! Lorna and Brad were great hosts and went out of their way to help me when I had car and bike problems. Try to arrive during daylight hours as it can be difficult to see where to turn off in the dark.

We had such an amazing time staying in the tiny house! Vivian was a wonderful host with great hospitality and she is a very generous and caring person. Her property was beautiful too with so many opportunities to walk through the forest and hike! The tiny house was kept very clean and organized as well making the stay much more relaxing. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a place to unwind, be in nature, and explore the town of Beacon!
