Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Connecticut River

Thomas is a great host. He lives in the house, however he is very quiet. You almost wouldn't know he lived there if he did tell you. This was the second time I stayed here. The first time was a few years back. Thomas had improved the stairs since then. I was pleased to see that he had, as I had mentioned this to him the last time. That was my only complaint then, and now I have no complaints. The house was built around 1905, the interior was redone as some point and electricity has been added (so no worries there ;) ). My room was on the second floor. The stairs like all of the house were wood. The stairs creak when you climb them. It's not a complaint, but it wouldn't hard/expensive to make that stop. He has fresh flowers in every room which is a nice touch. I didn't realize it when I booked the place, but it came with breakfast; Select cereals, organic milk, oats, toasts and bananas. Rose’s beautiful home was the perfect home base for my alumni reunion weekend. The home is situated in the heart of the College Hill area, close to Brown, RISD, and all kinds of dining and shopping. Once my car was parked in the driveway, I didn’t really need to move it, since most of my planned activities were within walking distance. The room was impeccably done, with lots of room to feel at home. Rose even put out a tea setting for me each morning to start the day. Her home definitely does not feel like a hotel — it feels like a true home, especially welcome after a day crammed with activities. I was very pleased with my stay.

I felt comfortable the moment I arrived at this lovely bed and breakfast. The location is absolutely beautiful and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The space itself was spotless and thoughtfully maintained. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, striking the perfect balance between being helpful and giving me space. I truly appreciated their hospitality without feeling like my privacy was compromised. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

Beautiful place and spotlessly clean. Very spacious — it’s actually bigger than it appears in the photos. Convenient 2-minute drive to ski area. Bretton Woods Vacations was great to work with; when we had one glitch with signing the contract due to a last-minute change (added a night), they were able to reconcile quickly. I suspect the issue was more an Airbnb technical glitch than anything BWV did. Overall a great stay — would definitely book thru BWV again and would certainly stay in this unit.

We had a great time staying at the Lacey Rose! I appreciated the direction communication from Denise and being in a space that was so thoughtfully decorated and cared for. Breakfast made for us at the time we requested was a huge bonus as well!

It was a great experience staying at their home. Peaceful and quiet. I appreciate how kind and responsive they were when communicating.

Great hosts that make you feel right at home. We were greeted with some extra special touches that we were not expecting during our stay, that was very thoughtful. The space is exactly as pictured and very comfortable. We would definitely come back

We loved our stay at Eileen's! Eileen and her husband and wonderful warm people. The home is beautiful, decorations lovely, and the aesthetic was great! The home has a lot of history which added to the stay! Eileen even cooked us a delicious breakfast, served on beautiful china. She gave us recommendations for things to do around Bellow Falls and hikes around the area which we really appreciated! Would definitely recommend staying here and we're planning to visit again ourselves!

Donnell is very responsive and accommodating. Comfortable lodging. Would recommend, he went above and beyond for us in our stay :)

We had a wonderful stay in this peaceful airbnb. We loved the layout and the views of the forest. The king size bed was super comfortable and Brianna was accommodating of my husband's need for down-free bedding. The exposed beams from the original barn and the natural wood made the apartment warm and cozy, especially during a powerful rainstorm. Highly recommend visiting the tiny cemetery down the road!

Lovely home, great location and friendly and helpful host. Felt more like a "hosted B&B or inn" rather than the more common experience I've had with Air B&B of the host being available but not a visible presence. If you are looking for a private, nonengaging experience, this might not be for you. However, if you enjoy meeting your host, we found Bob to be warm and cheery and he made us a lovely breakfast with excellent coffee. Rosy was away so we did not meet her, however, her decorating talents were much on display from the tableware to the linens and accoutrements, all of which made us feel like we were special guests.

Linda and Ted are very welcoming hosts and have a beautiful home. We had a great weekend and would definitively consider going back.

Wonderful couple greeted us at door and ensured we had a lovely experience. You could not leave the house at breakfast time on an empty stomach (cereals, croissants, muffins, fruits, Coffees, milk, …) Counted 10 Bird houses in front of House so must be at least twice that on property. Great location Re: access to/from I90/95 Everything as advertised. Would readily stay there again.

Staying here was such a cool experience!! The house was comfortable, clean, super homey, and has so much incredible history, and our dog was right at home here. And OMG the food. Donna is an amazing chef and a perfect host. We were so bummed to have to leave. If we're up in the Adirondacks again, we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Mary and Jim were great hosts. Mary in particular was hilarious; she shared many interesting stories with my friend and me. She took us on a mini tour of the grounds of her house which had magnificent views of the White Mountains all around. She gave us recommendations for short day hikes with great views. Cell reception is poor so keep your GPS on after you arrive. The house had a cozy, homey, welcoming vibe. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. We ate fresh eggs for breakfast from Mary’s hens. The best part of our trip were her dogs Dougal and Fergus who were very enthusiastic and playful, and the flock of hummingbirds that arrived in the late afternoon to drink from the feeder. 100% recommend staying here for a relaxing nature getaway from the city.

This was such an incredible place to stay! The location was perfect if you are looking for a secluded oasis with stunning views. It was in such close driving distance to delicious food, coffee, and activities. The home was very clean and inviting, and had the perfect setup for our group. Would definitely stay there again.

Bjorn and Elaine know how look after their guests. It was a pleasure to stay with them whilst exploring the White Mountains region. They gave good food recommendations nearby, made me extra coffee for my flask and asked me about the adventures I had been on. Perfect hosting! The room was super clean and comfortable with space to park the car and lovely indoor and outdoor areas for guests to enjoy a coffee or a beer. Will stay there again if I’m in town.

This Airbnb was fantastic—super clean and really well-maintained. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful.I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area.

We frequent Warick, NY often. The Warwick Inn was a delightful stay. The apartment style B & B included a large modern bathroom with a shower, laundry facilities, a kitchen with a variety of appliances, a quaint kitchen area, a small living room and a large bedroom. It is above a lovely restaurant with outdoor dining and a modern bar area. We could not hear the guests below. It was a perfect location and a perfect stay. It is located in the heart of Warwick, NY and close to several of the wineries. There are several restaurants and shopping within walking distance. It is truly a little hidden gem. Thanks to Gabriella, our host, she was able to secure a weekend for us in the country - last minute. Roseann Affinito

We had a fantastic stay at Summer’s place in Ormstown. The house was perfect for our large family—spacious, clean, and thoughtfully outfitted with every detail you could imagine. As a family that does a lot of cooking, we really appreciated how well-stocked the kitchen was: plenty of cookware, dishes, glassware, and even those little things that most places forget. You can tell this is the home of someone who knows hospitality inside and out (not surprising, since Summer also runs the great tavern across the street!). We felt truly at home here and would come back in a heartbeat.

We had the BEST girls' weekend at Lauren & Blakes! The beds were HUGE, place was clean and decorated so well, and we were minutes from a few really great hiking trails. Before we even fully arrived, Lauren & Blake offered to come by to help us with the air / heat, but their instructions were already so clear we were able to settle in without any help. We would absolutely stay here again, we all said the weekend was as amazing as it was because we found the perfect place to stay.

Comfy, clean home on the river with beautiful views from the rooms. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Home was ready for a large family stay. Highly recommend the home for a peaceful stay.
