Amazing place to stay . Lovely all the way through . Amazing hot tub . Bed was so comfy and tv was incredible

So enjoyed our stay at the Old Wash House. Everything was perfect from location to cottage & hosts couldnt have been any more accommodating. So many special touches from the freshly baked warm bread hanging on our door in the morning to the fire lit for our arrival. We loved it all & def hope to return ❤️ 😍

A wonderful set up at Ford Whetley. Idea for walking in the Peak District and great pubs with food within easy reach (recommend pubs at Onecote and the Black Lion at Butterton.) Louise was a great help in advance of our arrival and communicated really effectively. A beautiful area of the country. Would recommend this cottage to anyone - you won't be disappointed. Absolutely amazing property. We came here for our parents' joint 70th birthday and it was PERFECT. The games room, hottub and garden provided loads of entertainment for everyone. The views from the garden are amazing as well. Sophie and Lucy were super responsive and even went out to get a new BBQ for us when the existing one broke. Would definitely recommend and would come back in an instant

The Hut had everything you needed for a weekend away. Sits in a beautiful location and is very peaceful. Clean, tidy and attention to detail. Would definitely recommend and stay here again

Sarah was a fantastic host, really responsive on text with any questions we had and although it is self service check in, Sarah was on site when we arrived and gave us the tour of the site showing all the facilities and the route to our Yurt. The location was very peaceful, surrounded by hedges and trees, green and beautiful. You can hear all kinds of birds and wildlife and it’s a very comfortable place to be. The bathroom and shower facilities were spotless, beautiful done to high standard and well presented. The site has a lovely kitchen area as well as a beautifully designed BBQ Hut which we didn’t use as only stayed a night but would be perfect if a family stayed on site for a few days to use. The Yurt (Milne Corner was our one) itself was clean, really comfortable and very elegantly decorated, has all you would need, Hot tub was warming up when we arrived and was a lovely addition to our stay. I would recommend to anyone to stay here and can’t wait to go back!! X

Fantastic location, beautiful views, was able to do lots of walking. The accommodation was cosy, comfortable and had everything we needed in it. The open plan space was perfect for our family. The Alpacas were very friendly. We all had an amazing time with our fur babies. We would definitely recommend!

Mike's place is comfortable, clean, and adequate for 4 people, although provides for six. It's superbly kitted out, down to the last tea bag! That's an understatement! If this is an overnight and you have forgotten your "you know what's", and you are boarding for Barbados tomorrow morning, Mike will sort you out and get you to the airport. I'm sure of it! The Garden Apartment is a basement flat with very little natural light. Don't let that deter you! The facilities are first class. There are mirrors and creative lighting which make it feel light. Plus the garden, which is your private space to enjoy with BBQ. The garden is a delight with Roses and Wisteria, and many plants I could no identify. It's good!

We had a lovely few days at Rowan Tree Cottage. The cottage was immaculately clean and tidy and was equipped with everything you need for a confortable break. Our daughters especially loved the easter eggs in the Welcome Pack which was lovely touch for our Easter Break. Jane is a great host and very communicative from booking to check in and onwards. She also bakes a great victoria sponge :) We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Sam and Annie's cottage was a lovely location to spend 8 days as a family of three (including with a 9 month old baby). It included a large and very comfortable bed, a cot in a separate room for our baby, and everything needed in the kitchen to be able to make a meal. They were very helpful at making sure we had everything we needed for the baby (e.g. high-chair, baby bath, etc) and were very responsive to any questions that came up during our stay. The cottage is in a lovely spot, with walks right on its doorstep, and Monsal Head a short 5 minute walk away. The local pub is also excellent (ensure to make a reservation). We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We chose this accommodation due to its location near to the Peaks. The cottage was really peaceful and in a cracking location. Maeve greeted us on our arrival and explained all we needed and she even sorted some extra heating for us. Will be staying again soon

Heather (acting on behalf of Chris) was extremely helpful and responsive. We received clear instructions on how to work the heating and how to enter the property, as well as useful info on local amenities. The house has everything you’d need for a short or medium stay and the location is excellent for visiting central Manchester and the surrounding area. The garden is enclosed with a high fence, which made it perfect for our dog to play in. We also appreciated the dishwasher and washing machine and tumble dryer, which we were able to make use of. We couldn’t fault this property!

We had a wonderful stay at Paula’s cottage! Paula was a lovely host and we felt like it was home from home. Great pubs nearby and lovely walks from the village. Thank you for being so lovely! We would love to visit again soon.

Excellent stay, cosy little place that we wish we had the time to have enjoyed more. Would absolutely stay again if we were in the area. Donna was really responsive and helpful and made everything clear amd easy to follow :).

Beautiful place and very relaxing. Disappointed that there was no coffee machine as listed as we had purchased coffee pods, but not the end of the world. Will stay again when we visit the Peak District again.

Beautiful cottage set in wonderful grounds with a playhouse for the little ones. The pool was great too. Such a great place to stay, and under 10 minutes from Ashbourne. Around 30 mins to kid friendly hiking/walking in the Dales. Highly recommend.

Booked this as a surprise family gift for my hubby’s 60th, a family weekend away with the grandkids, and it was amazing!! We had a fabulous time, the accommodation was lovely, exactly as described! Hubby was over the moon! The pool and games room was well used by us all and made it perfect as we all got to use it basically to ourselves! The house was lovely and exactly as described! We’ll definitely be going again!

our stay at staycation cottages in bakewell was lovely. the love nest Lodge was very quaint and well equipped. the bathroom was especially layed out nicely. I enjoyed the access to the football playing area, pool area and the swimming pool. we used the bbq area once and made full use of the boot room for leaflets and information for our stay would definitely return back

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The space is great and as an extra bonus, you get to use a heated pool and brilliant games room. We went early Jan and there was loads of snow, as well as pretty cold temperatures, but the house warmed up very quickly and we were always more than comfortable. The property is close enough to Bakewell for a short drive or taxi ride, should you want to venture into town. We're thinking about going back in the summer.

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Birch Cottage was beautifully presented and perfect for a family get together. There was plenty of space, definitely did not feel cramped or on top of each other. The bathrooms were clean and modern, presented with complimentary toiletries. The bedrooms were a good size with adequate storage. The beds were comfortable and the bed linen was pristine. The location of the cottage is stunning, halfway up a hillside with plenty of challenging walks literally on the doorstep. The pool area exceeded expectations. It was modern, clean and warm. Sophie pre-arranged with me the times that the occupants on our cottage would use it and that worked out fine. I would have no hesitation in recommending Birch Cottage and hope to visit again some day.
