Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". This stunning gatehouse has been tastefully renovated and in the middle of our picturesque 4,000 acre estate. It is deceptively large sleeping four people with two bathrooms. A perfect base to explore the highlands and cities of Scotland (Edinburgh and Glasgow one hour drive, Stirling 40 minutes, St Andrew's 90 minutes, Highlands, 5 minutes). We are close to many attractions like Drummond Castle Gardens, Scone Palace and fabulous golf courses including Gleneagles hotel, Crieff and St Fillans.
