Escape to the country - Peaceful accommodation

StephenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Having stayed in numerous Air b and B’s now this gem has got to be our absolute favourite. Val and her husband could not of been anymore accommodating and helpful, the little village of Barford is a short walk away and the new landlady of the Joseph Arch was so helpful with helping us navigate the surrounding walks and cycle routes, The location was perfect for us, easy reach was Warwick and Stratford upon Avon, the acclimation was perfect too, pristine and everything you’d ever need for a short break. We will definitely be returning to this hidden piece of paradise in the countryside.

Dog Friendly Hilltop Stay with 360° Cotswold Views

CliveRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had an amazing family weekend, 8 adults stayed here for 3 nights on the first weekend of June. It was absolutely perfect, so clean, so relaxing & picturesque we didn’t want to leave. We couldn’t believe how well equipped the kitchen was with plenty of essential supplies we needed too such as cleaning products some cooking oils etc and how lovely the outdoor seating area was with the fire in the table, the bbq was perfect. Everything in this barn was done to a high standard and clean & modern but still had the Cotswold farm feeling that was perfect. Had the best time and will definitely be back. Our dog loved having his own field to run around in too. Great location for everywhere we wanted to go such as Bourton on the water, Burford, Broadway, wildlife zoo & The Farmers Dog pub & the local little town with its shops was so Pretty with lovely bakeries & butchers. Great weekend had by all. Jacqui was a great host and responded to requests quickly, thank you for a wonderful stay.

The Mirror Houses - Cubley

CameronRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had the most wonderful stay at the Mirror Houses in Oxford. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, welcoming, and beautifully thought-out. The cabin itself is stunning — immaculately clean, stylish, and so cosy, with everything we needed and more. The hot tub was a real highlight, especially in the evenings when we could unwind and take in the surroundings. Lucy was an exceptional host — warm, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful throughout. Travelling with our 9-week-old baby, we were a little nervous, but Lucy went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her kindness and attention to detail genuinely made our stay feel special and memorable. We left feeling relaxed, grateful, and already talking about when we might come back. A perfect little retreat — we couldn’t recommend it more

We had the most wonderful stay in the charming countryside. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease. The property is beautifully maintained—clean, cozy, and full of character. It’s even better than the pictures! The peaceful surroundings were exactly what we needed for a relaxing escape. The kitchen was well-equipped for home-cooked meals, and the little touches—local guidebooks, and thoughtful amenities—really made a difference. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, offering great local recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. Bumble Bee Barn

TonyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A delightful stay for a family wedding. We really liked the wonderful decorative touches in tune with 'Bumblebee'. A short walk to the village Co-op store which catered for all instant needs. The Indian restaurant is very good and has a well established reputation locally. The newer Pizza Junction is excellent. Both are an easy walk. All in All this was a 'top' stay in a well appointed and thought out place.
