Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

The Sharing House

House in the heart of the village, with small exterior, air-conditioned, beautiful living room. Located in the Nîmes-Arles-Avignon triangle, ideal location for visiting the area. 10 minutes from Nîmes/Pont du Gard TGV train station and 20 minutes from the A9 highway. The village is located about 5 km from the greenway that connects Beaucaire to the Pont du Gard, ideal for a bike ride or walking for the bravest. Local shops (grocery store, bakery, tobacco-press) supermarket and restaurants 5 km away.

It offers a heated swimming pool, a lit garden, a barbecue, a ping pong table, a petanque court, a deck chair, a sun umbrella, a hammock, HD fiber optic, Netflix, etc. Living room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (including a master suite) and reversible air conditioning. Located along the Carpentras Canal, it is an ideal starting point for beautiful walks or bike rides.

Our home, features an original fireplace, flagstone floors, and local furnishings. Enjoy the courtyard garden and pool (a quiet relaxing space, our neighbours appreciate their tranquility too). The neighbourhood is quiet but attractions like the Pont d'Avignon, restaurants, and bars are all less than 10 minutes on foot. A parking space is within a 3-minute walk. You will not use the car in town but is will be great to explore Provence by day and return to your tranquil haven each evening.

Next to the Pont du Gard, on the edge of the Gardon you can enjoy swimming spots and many activities, especially during the month of July with the festivals of Avignon, Sud and the photography meetings of Arles. Cycling friends, a helping hand will be offered.

Le Nid is a 14th century village house, freshly renovated in the heart of the historic center of Villeneuve-les-Avignon. Ideally located to enjoy the city and its cultural monuments on foot, mixing authenticity and contemporary comfort, Le Nid is an invitation to Provençal relaxation with its plastered walls, central wooden staircase, natural stone floor and a dominant view from the bedroom over the rooftops of Villeneuve. The South is invited here.

"LE MAS ROSE" in the heart of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence

Ideally located, lovely stone village house with inner courtyard, swimming pool, not overlooked. 2-minute walk to the historic center of St Remy. Completely renovated this year, fully air-conditioned. On the ground floor, a nice living room, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room. Upstairs, 2 bedrooms (180 beds or 2X90 Twins) each with their own ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet. Linens are provided, sheets, bath and pool towels.
