Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Colwyn Bay

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was spotless, very comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. Gwyndaf was an excellent host, communication was top notch. Our favorite thing was the location..beautiful walks ..stunning scenery right at your doorstep. Would definitively love to come back.

Absolutely lovely stay and amazing host! The treehouse was gorgeous, easy to get to and so well kept. The host was lovely and very accommodating, she also had great suggestions for local spots to visit. The treehouse was very comfortable and had all the amenities advertised. It was great to wake up and see the Peacocks and dogs running around the gardens in the morning.

Dog friendly cottage, close to the river and other walks. Small cottage, was a bit of a squeeze with our bigger dog. All was clean. Contact with Annette was great, clear instructions and always replied. Recommend

Jo and Katie were amazing hosts. They were responsive, flexible, and really made the effort to make my family of 4 comfortable. The barn was just like the photos and description, and had all the kitchen, bed and bath items you could need. The area is cute and cozy. Very scenic drive coming in. the Old Stag pub, the Llandgenyw Yee tree and the waterfall walk all within walking distance. There isn’t much else around without driving but this was perfect for our first Northern Wales experience. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay in the cottage. We had all of the facilities that we needed and the location was perfect for exploring up and down the coast. Information leaflets were very useful and the shower was great! The welcome pack was very good and we could have a cup of tea and biscuits on arrival. The use of upcycled furniture also made the cottage unique and very welcoming. The village had a very good charity shop / café and also had a good Chinese takeaway and some decent pubs. The cottage is also close to Talacre beach, Prestatyn and Flint / Holywell so there is always somewhere to visit. Thank you Chris for a lovely holiday rental! Dave, Chris, Elsie and Ruby

Comfortable clean accommodation in a beautiful peaceful setting, with kind, friendly and helpful neighbours. My favourite part was sitting in the lovely garden, listening to the brook flowing by while watching the house martins swirl around overhead.

omg what an amazing place! we enjoyed every single moment in Roger's place. The place is spacious, comfy sofa and chairs that looks at the beautiful views of great orme. The views from the windows and the main bedroom are breathtaking and the house is within walking distance to the promenade, local shops and even up to the great orme mines. it is a bit of hike when you are walking back as a lot mentioned but you can always take your car down or just a taxi up if you do not fancy the walk back in that steepy road. The house itself had everything we needed and it felt right at home. The instructions to get there and use everything were very clear and the check in was quite smooth. we loved everything in this place and we will definitely come back if we decided to revisit. Jane's apartment is fantastic! It's spacious, beautifully furnished and has wonderful views. Four of us stayed for one night and found it comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed a nice walk along the prom and found a handy pub to have a good lunch in. The city centre is within easy reach with good transport connections. We were made to feel at home by Jane and the cold beers in the fridge on arrival were most welcome! Thank you. Her communication and instructions were excellent from the moment we booked. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Liverpool. Highly Recommended!

David & Susie's apartment was great for us as we are not so young and fit anymore, but we like that area of Llandudno, apartment was everything as shown on website, although just 2 of us we enjoyed the space, but it would be fine for 4 people, everything we needed was in apartment, lights along skirting, great to let you know there is a step, which we appreciated, outdoor space good, especially if you smoke, within your space without going outside, also nice to sit outside anyway, overall a lovely stay for us, would recommend and we would return.

Jonathan and Gwen were wonderful hosts, always quick to respond to any enquiries. We were warmly welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco and some chocolate, which was such a thoughtful touch. The instructions to find and access the property were very clear and straightforward. The location was ideal for a couple of days’ hiking, situated right opposite a beautiful river with lovely walks nearby. The property itself was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. The cinema room was an absolute the perfect touch, and we made great use of it. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to return in the future.

Maria's apartment was absolutely amazing. First of all the location was fantastic and very easy to find. The actual apartment was as listed, a very well kept spacious apartment over looking a beautiful setting of a church grounds. Best of all though with this apartment was Maria and the staff at the pub. Absolutely brilliant amazing hosts, felt like we had known them ages, made us feel very welcomed and the restaurant food was outstanding. Cannot recommend this apartment, the stag inn and the village life highly enough. will be revisiting in the future.

We had a truly wonderful stay! The property is in a prime location - close to key attractions and all the necessary amenities, which made our trip super convenient. The space was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family. Our kids absolutely loved staying and playing here! The host, Sandra, was extremely helpful, kind, and very responsive throughout our stay. We felt well taken care of and truly appreciated her support. We’re very thankful for the experience and would definitely love to come back for our next holiday. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Spacious apartment, centrally located on the high street, easy walk to most places. Close to bars and restaurants and local attractions. Iona was an excellent host very helpful and responsive. Definitely recommend.

Lovely and cozy place to stay. Very central location - could walk to the city within minutes. Free parking outside of the property. Matt provided detailed instructions on how to access the property and was very responsive to any queries we had. Very friendly and helpful (with a good sense of humour too)! Thanks for hosting us.

Absolutely great place to stay. Home away from home. Spotlessly clean. Parking is fantastic and you can walk everywhere from apartment. So many restaurants to choose from and all a short walk. We loved the area. Michele went above and beyond when we accidentally left a bag at the property. I highly recommended staying here.

Finding a wonderful home away from the hustle and bustle of life was the aim of our weekend away and Hafod Cae Maen was perfect! The accommodation slept 8 adults with ease (and luxury) and gave plenty of space for dinner around the table, games in the garden, and relaxing in the evening. The central heating kept the house lovely and warm and the log fires were a great background when it was time to enjoy an evening glass of wine. Plenty of fridge space and a well equipped kitchen meant that cooking as a group was a pleasure. Many thanks to Paul and Claire for their helpful communications regarding attractions in the area and thoughtful welcome hamper, a really lovely touch.

Sarah's place was in a lovely quiet area. an oasis of calm. Really handy for the bus into town

As a family who have 2 young boys will ALN, this place is ideal, they had the space and freedom to just play and run around. The children's play area was ideal. Shame the trampoline was taken away through!! However if you want a chilled place to stay this is the place.

I would give Amy’s place 6 stars if I could, what a dream! Such a gorgeous and spacious home, beautifully renovated with modern amenities. Beds were cozy and comfortable, the kids also enjoyed the games room downstairs. Best was the view of the rolling hills with sheep grazing right in front of the house, which we could enjoy from the living room, garden and also hot tub. If you are hesitating whether to book this property, please do yourself a favour and book with confidence! We enjoyed our stay thoroughly, no one wanted to leave!
