The Sea Cubby, Private Holiday Lodge, Portling.

The Sea Cubby is a unique wee holiday lodge overlooking the Solway Firth. It is perched just above the waves with the most beautiful views across Portling Bay to the white sands of Merse Head nature reserve. The Lodge is not in a holiday park it stands alone with it's own private driveway, parking and garden. It’s so quiet, a retreat to escape and relax, by sitting watching and listening to the waves. The Lodge has a large glass roofed deck. Well behaved dogs are considered, please ask first.

West view is a luxury property located directly on Nethertown beach. It is in a tranquil area with amazing sea views. It has a dog friendly beach, is great for fishing, has lots of wildlife and has the most stunning sunsets. In winter, enjoy cosy evenings with the fire lit. An ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too. Please note- We no longer have a hot tub.

There is an amazing barbecue hut, with charcoal barbecue and ample seating, perfect for enjoying with friends and a glass or two of wine. Relax in the large hot tub taking in the clear dark skies at night.

Coach House @Slogarie Rewilding humans since 2019

A traditional coach house and stables, The Coach House has recently been beautifully refurbished. From kitchen to bathrooms, loos and laundry room, everthing is fresh and new. It is spacious but cosy and the living area comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests. Dogs are welcome and there are good facilities for cleaning and drying them after a good walk. Set in the heart of the Galloway countryside, the house stands alone by a small loch with an island and a boat.

This cottage has a swimming pool (available May to Sept additional charge applies) & tennis court available by prior arrangement with the owners and access to the footpaths over the owner's farm (Kirkland) there is also easy access to the Forestry Commission Dalbeattie Woodlands which has attractive walks and also mountain bike trails. Dalbeattie Woodlands form part of the 7Stane Forestry Commission Mountain Biking Trails and the other trails are all within easy reach.
