From a welcome to Surprise Amazing, also with a capital S, to a precision in everything Surprising, always with a capital S. This place is beautifully situated at the top of Assisi. It's nice to stroll down hill to get to everything and see the views - but then you have to walk back up. It is a pleasant walk, everything is within 10 minutes. The place is charming and beautifully decorated. It is the downstairs so that is great because it is cool, but it is dark. We weren't home in the day so that was fine and it was great for sleeping. The bathroom is large and pretty with a glorious waterfall shower. The amenities are high quality. She is very kind.

Everything about our stay was superb. The host was kind, responsive, and made both check-in and check-out effortless. The apartment was easy to find and ideally located for exploring Umbria. The internet was fast, and essential amenities—including a grocery store and a cozy bar serving coffee and pastries—were just a short walk away. The neighborhood is peaceful and relaxed, with a lovely view of Assisi from the balcony. We truly had nothing to complain about—this is a place we’d happily return to for both short and long stays. A tip for visiting Assisi: take the local bus from the nearby train station—it’s just a few minutes’ walk. For dining in Santa Maria degli Angeli, we recommend: La Bella Trattoria degli Angeli (homemade food with a relaxed, authentic vibe) and La Pregiutteria Casa Norcia (a more refined experience with excellent atmosphere and flavors). This Airbnb is highly recommended!

Silvia was a kind host, very dedicated and always ready to help and advise. She was waiting for us when we arrived. So hospitable. It's a nice and very clean apartment and the view from the balcony on Assisi is really stunning, like living in a painting!! Imagine yourself having breakfast and dinner on a balcony looking at the beautiful Umbrian landscape and Assisi!!

What a fantastic place! If you are looking for a peaceful place in nature to relax and unwind in Italy, look no further than this farm stay. Silvia and Alberto were excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful, the accommodations are nice, and the views are spectacular. An added bonus was their adorable dog, who greeted us at our car, hung out with us often and went on nearly every walk with us. We already miss her! Alberto also did a cooking class for us, which was a wonderful experience and so much fun. We highly recommend this Airbnb!
