Convenience of good access, situated on the road leading from the village of Clyro to the famous 'book town' of Hay-on-Wye. Ideal base for exploring the Wye Valley, Brecon Beacons National Park, and the Black Mountains.

Cosy accommodation for four in a small village. Access via external metal stairs to open plan living area, fitted kitchen with dishwasher. Two bedrooms, one with double bed, other with two singles. Bedding and towels provided, electric heating in all rooms and free private off road parking. One mile from Hay-on-Wye (just over a mile away) with plenty of local walks. The cottage is located just out of the centre of Hay opposite the beautiful St Mary's Church. It is slightly quieter here than in the heart of the town but is still only a 5 minute walk into the centre. It is very easy to access the river walks, simply taking the path to the right of the church. The cottage is full of character with wooden beams, a wood-burning stove, the original fireplace in the bedroom, wooden flooring throughout the downstairs, and a beautiful south-facing garden.

Large gated parking area. Well behaved dogs welcome. Ground floor, private entrance to self contained flat. Large garden, sole use of gazebo and balcony. Includes breakfast basket. Safe place to leave bicycles. Maximum TWO guests - every guest, including infants and children, counts toward this limit.

The house is very cosy yet modern with an open plan ground floor with kitchen whilst the upstairs bedroom has a kingsize bed & a large walk in shower in the bathroom.
